  • The Harman Kardon Aura Studio 2 only supports Bluetooth. The HK Controller app only works with Harman Kardon products that have WiFi connectivity.
  • Please note that two types of ear tips are included with AKG N5005. The black ones are normal silicone tips, and they are fine for many users. The Milky-white ones are from the company SpinFit. They have a special middle section that permits the tip to swivel in all directions, making them able to adapt to various insertion angles. Please try both. For some, one is better, for some, the other one is better. You make the decision. In normal use, the tip that makes the best seal with your ear canal is the best choice, since bass reproduction is very dependent on this seal. However, some users may find that they prefer a slightly less tight seal.
  • Unfortunately, some Huawei phones are not able to stream music from the HK Controller app to 1st generation Omni speakers. However, the new Omni 10+, 20+, and 50+ have fixed this issue, and you will be able to stream music to them using your Huawei phone.
  • It is not possible to use the speaker while installing it to your WiFi network. Once you have successfully connected to the WiFi network, you can use Bluetooth and AUX again.
  • What you are experiencing is normal. The JBL Free will automatically switch to mono mode on the RIGHT ear when the call starts. After the call ends stereo music mode will automatically resume.
  • The registration success rate and quality of voice commands depends on the performance of your smart phone’s microphone. Make sure that your smart phone’s microphone is unobstructed and you are speaking clearly when registering commands. If you continue to have issues, try registering using a family member or friend’s smart phone as a test. If voice command registration is successful with their device, the microphone on your smart phone may have issues.
  • Make sure your smart phone supports BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) and it is connected to Smartbase via Bluetooth.
  • Usually, the first time you connect the N90Q to your computer with the USB cable, and turn the headphone ON, it will cause a message to open on your computer, informing you that this new device has been connected, and a software package is being imported.
Next time, you may get a warning that your USB device is not recognized by the computer, but that does not mean that the headphone will not work, it just means that you must activate it in the audio control systems.

    1. Locate the speaker symbol, which is usually shown at the extreme right in your computer taskbar along the bottom of the screen.

    2. Right-click on the speaker symbol.

    3. A menu opens, and you must highlight and click on Playback Devices.

    4. Now a small window opens, showing the Playback tab, with all available speaker option.

    5. One of the options should read something like this: " Speakers. AKG N90 headphones - Firmware version A2.12. Ready."
    6. Highlight this option, and then click the "Set Default" button that is now available in the window. Audio should immediately be sent to the N90 headphones as a digital signal, which is then converted and amplified inside the headphones.
    7. Now you can enjoy world-class music listening.
If the computer will not show N90Q as an option, it is usually a solution to disconnect the headphone, then reconnect it. Sometimes this must be done two or three times before the computer "sees" the headphone.

  • No, using two virtualization algorithms at the same will very negatively affect the performance and sound quality. Be sure you’re only using one surround sound solution at a time.
  • Make sure that both speakers are using the same network technology, either Ethernet or WiFi. Mixing them will increase music loading time.
  • • Please check whether you connected JBL DRG with your smartphone and head unit via Bluetooth before, then power off the head unit. • If you have, wait 2 minutes for JBL DRG to reconnect to smartphone after power on. This is because JBL DRG will automatically search for the head unit, first then the smart phone.
  • Please make sure that the audio out format is set to PCM in the TV. Dolby Digital or other surround formats will not work with the BTA 20 transmitter.
