The Checklist
Let us walk-through a list of things needed to ensure every requirement is met.
- Check your mobile device if that is able to connect to same Wireless network.
- Make sure you are within range of your Wireless router.
- Check the Wireless signal on your mobile device, does it have a weak signal then move closer to the router.
- Try both Wireless network bands 2.4GHz and 5GHz in case one of them are failing.
- You will have longer range with 2.4GHz, but less performance and most of the times a crowded network (many devices are using 2.4GHz band).
- You will have less interference with 5GHz and higher performance, however, the range of the 5GHz network has shorter range.
- Try using a different mobile device, if you have one.
- Reboot your Wireless network router and your mobile device.
Wireless Network Extender
Some houses or apartments can be too big for one Wireless network router to cover it all.
Let's talk about the issues that might appear with an Extender network.- Network Extenders that will help cover poor signal in your home, often results in poor connection and low speed performance.
- Often the Network Extender is a low budget device or not suited for having too many devices attached to it.
- Placement of the speaker is crucial as you can put it in a place where it could connect to either main Wireless router or the Extender, that will confuse Wireless network devices.
- To solve this issue, try move the speaker closer to main router or have fewer devices attached to your Wireless Extender.
- In addition, always use 5GHz connection between your Network extender and main router (best solution and performance).
One Wireless Network Name (SSID)
- You may have set the Wireless Network SSID (Wi-Fi network name) to one big Wireless network (With a main router + Extender(s).
- If the Wireless speaker is within range of both Wireless networks (Main router & Extender) then it can get confused with which one to connect to.
- To solve this issue, using two different name for your extended network will help with the performance of the Wireless connected speaker and Google Assistant request.

The Left and Right bud should sync together automatically when removed from the case. If the Left and Right bud do not sync together automatically within 15 seconds, you may manually sync the buds together. With the buds out of the case, press the center button on each bud 3x. This action does not have to be done simultaneously. You may start with either the L or R bud to initiate syncing. Was this helpful? Thank you for your feedback!

The speaker is IPX5 certified, it can withstand direct splashes from any direction for up to 3 minutes. Although a little snow or rain won't hurt it, we do not recommend keeping the speaker outside during rain and/or snow. Also be aware of extreme hot or cold temperatures, they may be damaging. Was this helpful? Thank you for your feedback!

If the wireless mic is out of signal range, you will experience drop outs or no sound. Once range is reestablished, the speaker should automatically detect the mic and resume connection within less than 3 sec.
When a wireless mic is connected, the speaker will play a notification sound once. If two wireless mics are connected at the same time, there may be a 1 sec gap between the two notification sounds.
If one of the wireless mics is not working, we recommend the following:
1. Turn off the speaker
2. Turn on the mic and place it on top of the speaker
3. Turn on the speaker
4. The speaker should automatically pair with the new mic within 3 min and play a notification sound

Your JBL speaker is waterproof with IPX7 rating. (IPX7 means it can survive immersion in 1 meter/3.3 feet for up to 30 minutes.) To maintain the looks and functions of your speaker, please make sure to rinse it with fresh water after using it at a swimming pool or the ocean, then dry off all covers and areas where water can gather. The standard for waterproofing is for tap water. Chemicals and salt in your pool or the ocean can damage the waterproof seals or harm the surface finish over time if not rinsed off after use.Was this helpful? Thank you for your feedback!

With some phones, such as iPhones and some Android models, volume is synchronized while Bluetooth is used, and levels below volume setting 6 (tested with iPhone 6 and iPhone 5s) and volume setting 5 on most Android devices will cause the GO to enter standby after some minutes. If you want to play softer while still using your iPhone as a source, please change to cabled connection from the headphone output to the AUX input of GO. This will make it possible for you to set the GO's volume at its minimum step, and then control total level on the telephone. Of course, if source level from the telephone is set extremely low, the GO will go into standby again, because GO needs a certain level to keep playing. Alternatively, use a phone which does not synchronize volume as source. Many Android phones do not synchronize volume, so by using such a phone, you can adjust GO to its lowest level, adjusting total level independently, even via Bluetooth. This will usually result in music volume at the desired level. Was this helpful? Thank you for your feedback!
