This video shows how to use a smart speaker that has Google Assistant built-in.
Our LINK series have Google Assistant built-in therefore you can practice your voice commands together with Harman/Kardon Citation or JBL LINK products

1. Put the earbuds back into the charging case and close the lid. 2. Press and hold the buttons on both the left and right earbuds for more than 2 seconds. Alternatively, only press and hold one of the buttons to just turn off the left or right earbud as required. 3. Use the Auto-off function via the JBL Headphone app (Only applicable for headphones supported in our JBL Headphone app).

Yes, you can adjust the game and chat audio balance by rotating the dial-up and down. When you rotate the dial, you'll feel a notch that indicates the balance is 50% game and 50% chat. The slider on Quantum ONE is different and has no notch but instead a visual indicator.

Onboard Active Noise Cancelling is controlled by the multi-function button on the rear of the left ear-cup. Switched on by default, you can SINGLE press the ANC button to toggle it On/Off  and LONG press to active TalkThru. Turn on ANC again by a single press on the multi-function button.

To show the current firmware version on your JBL TUNER device, go through the following steps.

1. Turn on the JBL TUNER.
2. Press and hold this three-button combination: DAB/FM+ Volume+ and Preset 5, simultaneously for 3-4 seconds.
3. In the display, you will see a combination of letters and numbers. This is the current software version.
4. See picture below as illustration.

The new firmware version released is V.0.0.57 (shown in the picture above).
To get the latest version, ask our customer service for a guide and an upgrade file.

How to check your PC settings for the correct recording device
1. Go to Control Panel

2. Select Hardware and Sound

3. Click on Sound

3 Select  Recording


4. Make sure to select the proper recording device.

1. Right-click on it Quantum headset.

   

2. Now select "Set Default Device" or Select "Default Communication Device"

   

5. Check the microphone levels by right-click on your Quantum headset. Then click on Properties


6. Choose Levels.


7. Adjust accordingly.
 

Please also make sure the volume control on the headset is turned up. Rotate the volume wheel on your headset to increase the volume.
Check that your headset's Game-Chat balance dial and ensure that the balance is correct, you might refer to the screenshot below from the QuantumEngine PC software.


If you still cannot hear the game or music audio, or if the volume is still very low, check if the TalkThrough is activated via the QuantumEngine software.


Finally, you can also do a short press on the Smart Ambient button on the headset (if your headset, has this feature)

1. Power on your JBL LINK speaker.
2. Verify that you are connected to the right Wi-Fi network on your smartphone.
3. Open your Google Home app .
4. Enable Bluetooth
5. Enable Location Service (Android Only)
   1. Make sure you have permitted the Google Home app to view your location.
6. First option Tap Add Set up device Set up new devices in your home
7. Second  option Tap X device found Select Home location
8. Follow the instruction on screen to add your new JBL LINK speaker.

You are now all set and can enjoy your LINK device!

Download the Google Home app, available for iOS and Android versions. 1. Open the Google Home app. 2. Plug in power for your Enchant 800 or Enchant 1300 Soundbar. 3. Enable Bluetooth. 3.1. Enable Location service on your phone and permit Google Home app to view your location (Android only). 4. Click setup device in your Google Home app. 5. Follow the instructions provided in the app, and enjoy Chromecast streaming for your Enchant soundbar!

What you need first

• A Harman/Kardon Enchant Soundbar (1300 or 800 model).

• Latest version of the Google Home app
• A mobile device or tablet with Android or iOS system.
• An internet connection.
• Dual-band router with 2.4GHz and 5GHz connection

Adding your Enchant soundbar to your Wi-Fi

1. Open the Google Home app

      

2. Click on "ADD" to connect your Enchant 800 or Enchant 1300 Soundbar to your Wi-Fi network.
3. Follow the instructions on screen and enjoy beautiful sound using Chromecast technology.

Usually, the first time you connect the N90Q to your computer with the USB cable, and turn the headphone ON, it will cause a message to open on your computer, informing you that this new device has been connected, and a software package is being imported. Next time, you may get a warning that your USB device is not recognized by the computer, but that does not mean that the headphone will not work, it just means that you must activate it in the audio control systems. Locate the speaker symbol, which is usually shown at the extreme right in your computer taskbar along the bottom of the screen. Right-click on the speaker symbol. A menu opens, and you must highlight and click on Playback Devices. Now a small window opens, showing the Playback tab, with all available speaker option. One of the options should read something like this: " Speakers. AKG N90 headphones - Firmware version A2.12. Ready." Highlight this option, and then click the "Set Default" button that is now available in the window. Audio should immediately be sent to the N90 headphones as a digital signal, which is then converted and amplified inside the headphones. Now you can enjoy world-class music listening. If the computer will not show N90Q as an option, it is usually a solution to disconnect the headphone, then reconnect it. Sometimes this must be done two or three times before the computer "sees" the headphone.

(1) Use JBL One App to set up the My Moment Feature.
(2) Select the JBL soundbar you want to set your favorite music to the My Moment feature.
(3) Tap the My Moment card to assign music.
(4) Click Add Music to manage music streaming services and specific music tracks.
(5) Set the timer to inactive speaker/soundbar (optional)
(6) Set the music loudness (optional)
(7) Press SAVE

1. Power on the Enchant 800 or Enchant 1300 Soundbar. 2. In any source mode, press the power and source button for 5 seconds. 3. The Enchant 800 or Enchant 1300 will power off automatically and turn on again. 4. Your device is now reset back to default Factory settings. 5. You can now redo the setup through the Google Home app or pair with a new smartphone or tablet.

With our JBL BAR 5.1 Surround there is two types of resets, one is to reset the WiFi settings and last one is to restore factory default settings.

Let us walk through each one of them.

Resetting WiFi settings

1. Turn on your JBL BAR 5.1 Surround.
2. Press and hold POWER button down for more than 10 seconds.
3. All of your WiFi configuration is lost and you need to reinstall it again.

Use the Google Home app to install the device on your WiFi network.

Resetting to Factory default settings

1. Turn on your JBL BAR 5.1 Surround
2. Press and hold POWER and SOURCE button for 3 seconds.
3. Your device is now reset.

You can now start allover with installing your BAR 5.1 Surround.​​​​

With our JBL BAR 9.1 Surround there is two types of resets, one is to reset the WiFi settings and last one is to restore factory default settings. Let us walk through each one of them. Resetting WiFi settings Turn on your JBL BAR 9.1 Surround. Press and hold POWER button down for more than 10 seconds. All of your WiFi configuration is lost and you need to reinstall it again. Use the Google Home app to install the device on your WiFi network. Resetting to Factory default settings Turn on your JBL BAR 9.1 Surround Press and hold POWER and SOURCE button for 3 seconds. Your device is now reset. You can now start allover with installing your BAR 9.1 Surround.

The factory reset button restores your device to the default settings, including network and audio configurations. 

Please use one of the following solutions:

1.  Press and hold VOL -, VOL +, and Source buttons on the device at the same time until the LED light flashes (hold for more than 5 seconds)

Or alternatively;

2. Open your JBL ONE App.
3. Navigate to the support tile.
4. Select RESTORE FACTORY SETTINGS. 

To reset your JBL Bar 2.0 or 2.1 back to factory default settings, follow the steps below.

1. Turn on your JBL Bar 2.0 or 2.1
2. Press SOURCE and POWER buttons on top of the bar at the same time for more than 3 seconds.
3. Your soundbar will now power off and on again.

All Bluetooth paired devices are now removed from the internal memory; please Bluetooth pair your devices again.

Resetting the device

1. In any source mode, press and hold the power button and Source button for 5 seconds.
2. When the factory settings restore is complete, the soundbar automatically turns off and restarts.
3. You can now set it up via Google Home app again or connect any new Bluetooth devices.

On the bottom of your ADAPT+ there is a reset button. Hold it down for 5 seconds, until the round button LED lights up in white. The product is now reset and ready to be set up again.

In order to reset the headphones: 

Long Press of volume + and volume - at the same time while the unit is on. Make sure that bluetooth is NOT on and connected to any device. 
When reseting, LED will blink faster. 

Resetting the Partybox to Factory Settings

1. Press and hold "Play/Pause" and "Volume +" down for > 10 seconds.
2. The JBL Partybox will power off and back on and is now reset.

Resetting the SOUNDSTICKS 4 to Factory Settings

1. The unit must be on
2. Press and hold Power and Bluetooth buttons for > 10 seconds
3. The unit is reset

Press and hold the 'DAB/FM' & 'Preset 1' buttons for more than 2 seconds. The Horizon 2 is now reset to the default factory settings.

Power on the JBL Pulse 3 For 5 seconds, press and hold the "Volume +" and "Play" buttons The JBL Pulse 3 will power off, and is now reset

In power ON mode press and hold the "Volume +" and "Play" buttons at the same time for more than 3 seconds -> Unit will power Off by itself. Now the unit is reset to factory default.

Press and hold the 'Volume +' and 'Bluetooth' buttons simultaneously for > 2 seconds (> 5 seconds for the Onyx Studio 8), until the speaker powers off.
The Onyx Studio is now reset to factory settings.

Press and hold the Phone and VOL + button simultaneously.
After 5 seconds, the unit powers Off, and is now reset.

In power ON mode press and hold the "Volume +" and "Phone" buttons at the same time for more than 3 seconds -> Unit will power Off by itself. 
Now the unit is reset to factory default.
 

Restore to factory settings:
In power ON mode, press and hold the Power Button for at least 10 seconds, until the volume and input selector lights begin to flash.
Reset to factory default includes Source, Volume settings, EQ settings, AirPlay name and Wi-Fi settings.

Resetting the Partybox to Factory Settings

1. Press and hold "Play" and "Light" buttons for > 10 seconds.
2. The Partybox will power off and back on and is now reset.

To re-establish the functionality of the Advanced Swipe Controls (details in the image below), first update the My JBL Headphones app in the Google Play/App Store.
After the installation is completed, pair the earbuds to your phone/tablet through Bluetooth and open the app.
The earbuds will be detected and displayed in the app and you should see that a Firmware update is available.


Note: Advanced touch controls are deactivated by default, in the My JBL Headphones app go to Settings  once your earbuds are displayed, then select Gestures and enable Advanced Swipe Controls. You can now select each function and assign it to a specific gesture.

(1) On the subwoofer's rear panel, press and hold the pairing button until the LED  turns fast, flashing white.
(2) To enter the subwoofer pairing mode on the soundbar, press and hold the bass button on the remote control for more than three seconds. Then, press VOL - on the remote control.

On the soundbar LED display:
→ "SUB PAIRING": The subwoofer is ready for pairing.
→ "SUB PAIRED": The subwoofer is connected.

USB Stick

1. Get an empty stick with speed of 2.0.
2. Make sure it is formatted with FAT16 or FAT32.
3. Your Music files can only be:  (32-320kbit/s), (32-320kbit/s) and (44.1K/48K/192K).
4. The Partybox supports up to 8 subfolders.
5. It will be played in alphabetic sequence with main folders first then subfolders.
6. To skip songs forward, double press the Play/Pause button. To skip back, triple press the Play/Pause button.

This video shows how to play music and much more with your Google Assistant. You can practice all of your voice commands on your Harman/Kardon Citation or JBL LINK products.

Prerequisites:
− Make sure that your room is quiet;
− Make sure that the soundbar and the two detachable rear speakers are fully in sight of each other, without obstacles in between.
− Make sure that the left and right rear speakers are properly placed, the L speaker on the left and the R speaker on the right.

The calibration is done in two steps: Listening zone & Speaker position

Calibrate the listening zone

1. Place the detachable rear speakers beside your seating position.

2. On the remote control, press and hold HDMI until “1-CALIBRATION” is displayed on the soundbar.
→ Countdown starts from 5 to 1.
→ Calibration tone is heard. Audio calibration starts.
→ “CALIBRATING”: Calibration ongoing.
→ “1-DONE”: Calibration of the listening zone is completed successfully.

Calibrate the speaker position

1. Place the detachable rear speakers in your desired location.

2. On the remote control, press and hold HDMI until “2-CALIBRATION” is displayed on the soundbar.
→ Countdown starts from 5 to 1.
→ Calibration tone is heard. Audio calibration starts.
→ “CALIBRATING”: Calibration ongoing.
→ “2-DONE”: Calibration of the speaker position is completed successfully.
3. To select suitable surround sound level, press repeatedly to switch between high, low or middle (default).

NOTES:
− During calibration, all buttons on the remote control are disabled except for STANDBY and HDMI.
− “SETUP FAILED” is displayed if calibration failed.

To perform a hardware reset of your earbuds, press and hold the reset button on the charging case* for more than 5 seconds. This resets the earbuds without restoring the settings to the factory defaults.
* Location
Live 300TWS/Live Pro+ TWS: Inside the charging case between the earbuds.
Live Free NC+/Reflect Mini NC TWS/Reflect Aero: On the back of the charging case, next to the USB-C port.
Club Pro+ TWS: On the bottom of the charging case, next to the USB-C port.

1. Power on your Enchant 800 or Enchant 1300 Soundbar. 2. There are two ways to enter Bluetooth pairing mode on your Enchant soundbar. 2.1. Press the dedicated source button on top of your Enchant soundbar source 2.2. Press the source button until you see "Bluetooth" in the front of the Enchant display. 3. The second option is to use the Remote control included with your Enchant soundbar. 4. Press the "BT" button on your Remote control. 5. The display will show "Bluetooth pairing". 6. Go to your Bluetooth settings menu on your mobile device. 7. Enable Bluetooth and connect to your Enchant 800 or Enchant 1300 Soundbar.

How to pair an Enchant Subwoofer with your Enchant bar

1. Go to the back of your Enchant soundbar (800 or 1300)
2. Press the "Subwoofer pairing" button for 2 seconds.

3. In front of your Enchant display, it will say "Subwoofer pairing"
4. Go to the back of your Enchant subwoofer.
5. Press the "Subwoofer pairing" button.

6. The small LED indicator will start to flash rapidly and when the connection is successful, it will be a steady light.

You now have more bass performance and can enjoy deeper richer sound!

We included a Remote Control in your box (I know, that's sweet of us), and you need to pair it with your LINK BAR before it is working.

This is how you will do it

1. Press the BLUETOOTH button on the LINK BAR
2. Now hold the BLUETOOTH button down for 3-5 seconds.
3. When you see "SEARCHING FOR ACCESSORIES" on your TV screen, release the BLUETOOTH button.
4. On your REMOTE press the HOME and BACK buttons at the same time.
5. A Green LED light will flash on the REMOTE to indicate that it is in pairing mode.
6. Keep holding down the buttons until you see a message on the TV screen that says, "Pairing remote control to LINK BAR" After 10 seconds, release.
7. If done successfully on your TV screen, you will see an indicator counting down that it will "pair" with your remote.

Enjoy your entertainment with few clicks away!

BONUS TIP:  There is an Android app called Android TV that will turn your Smartphone into a Remote controller.

1. Touch the microphone icon on the screen to mute the Google Voice assistant microphone.
   1. NOTE: Google Assistant will not work when the microphone is muted.
2. Touch and press it again to unmute the microphone.
3. You can now give it any voice commands that you would like.

Finding the software version

1. Press and hold the 'Volume-' and 'Bass Boost' buttons for 5 seconds.
2. A voice will start prompting numbers which indicates the current software version.

NOTE: Apple IOS users are not able to find their MAC address in Google Home app due to privacy policies in the USA and European market.

We advise setting up your device on a less secure network. Log into the router and retrieve the MAC address for your device then add it to your preferred network.

Instructions below are for Android only

1. Open your Google Home app 
2. Enable Bluetooth  on your device.
3. Enable Location service  on your Android device.
   1. Remember to "Allow" Google Home to view your location while using the app (You are asked during setup of the Google Home app).
   2. In case you denied access go to Settings  Apps  Google Home  Permissions  Allow to view Location.
4. When you at selecting the Wi-Fi network from the list of available networks, before tapping on your network you need to get the MAC address.
   1. Tap  the  located top right corner.
   2. In the pop-up menu press "Show MAC address" Write down the MAC Address.

You can now add the MAC address to your local Wireless router or system if your configuration requires this before installing the device on your network.

Finding the MAC address after speaker is installed

1. Open your Google Home app .
2. Tap on  to view your home.
3. Find your room .
4. In the top right corner tap Settings icon .
5. ​Scroll down to the bottom of the screen. You will see some system information and the MAC address as well.

Place both ear pods in the charging box, while the charging box is plugged into a power source. Press and hold the button on the Right pod for about 5 seconds. The LED on the pod will turn off and then turn back on again. This restores to factory defaults. (Please note that charging must take place for reset to work.) It also may be necessary to remove or forget the earbuds from the list of paired Bluetooth devices in order to pair again.

Double-tap the button on the right earbud, then on the third tap - press and hold the button for more than 5 seconds (until the unit shuts off). 
This restores the earbuds to the factory defaults.
TWS must be connected to perform the reset, so neither of the earbuds should be off or in the charging case.
It also may be necessary to remove or forget the earbuds from the list of paired Bluetooth devices in order to pair again.

In Power On mode, press and hold 'Volume+' together with 'Play/Pause' for more than 2 seconds. The speaker will power off and is now reset.

If you have two of the same model Google Assistant speakers, you can create a stereo speaker system.

How to create a stereo pair...

1. Open the Google Home app
2. Find the speaker you want to setup in stereo pair
3. Find the speaker/room
4. Tap on Settings
5. Go to Sound Settings
6. Find the Speaker pair
7. You are now entering the setup page Tap
8. Find your speaker under the Pair with list and tap.
9. Move the speaker to be Left or Right side and press
   1. You can tap on Play sound to identify which speaker it is.
10. Find a name for your Stereo pair
11. It takes a minute to complete the setup.
12. When the configuration is done it will say Ready
13. Press Done

You have now completed the setup and created a Stereo pair sound experience.

NOTE 1:  This is only possible with two of the same speakers.  If they are not identical (Example: Citation 100 & Citation One), setting up a stereo pair will not be an option.

NOTE 2:  It is possible to make a stereo pair of a Mk1 with a Mk2. Setup as normal.
Airplay from the Mk2 will not be available.

NOTE 3: It is only possible to use Chromecast and Bluetooth in stereo, Airplay will be mono (and should be grouped in iOS Airplay menu.

 

Bluetooth Pairing

1. Press the button on the Partybox to start the pairing process.
2. Grab your device.
3. Go to settings --> Bluetooth --> Enable Bluetooth -->
4. Find the Partybox speaker you want to establish a Bluetooth connection to.

        

5. You now have a successful connection and can stream your favorite music.
   1. NOTE: It is only possible to have two devices connected at the same time and if you want to listen through the second Bluetooth device then stop the current one from playing and use the second device.
   2. To stop Bluetooth broadcasting then insert a USB device.

To control the Light show on your JBL Partybox device, simply press the dedicated "Light show" button located under the Bluetooth icon. There are 3 different light shows available when toggling through them, select your favorite one and have a blast. There is no app developed to control or modify these settings, all settings have to be done on the Partybox device.

Citation One and Citation 100

1. Press the Bluetooth icon. Located on the top panel.
2. Go to -menuMake sure Bluetooth is 
3. Find your Citation speaker and connect.

         

4. You are now connected and ready to play music over Bluetooth, Enjoy!

Citation 300, 500, Bar and Towers

1. Swipe up on the display to find Bluetooth icon.
2. Tap Icon will light up Go to -menu Make sure Bluetooth is
3. Find your Citation speaker.

        

4. You are now connected and ready to play music over Bluetooth, Enjoy!

You can enjoy streaming your favorite music over WiFi to your JBL BAR 9.1 Surround by adding it to your network. Turn on your soundbar. Download the Google Home app to your phone. Enable Bluetooth and Location services on your device. Open Google Home app Follow the instructions given in the app. You are now connected to your WiFi network and can enjoy streaming music to your system. The soundbar will now be able to automatically update, to make sure the performance is the best at all times.

You can enjoy streaming your favorite music over WiFi to your JBL BAR 5.1 Surround by adding it to your network.

Connecting to WiFi

• Turn on your soundbar.
• Download the Google Home app to your phone.
  • Available on Android and Apple.
• Enable Bluetooth, Location services on your Android device.
• Enable Bluetooth on your Apple device.
• Open Google Home app
• Follow the instructions given in the app.

You are now connected to your WiFi network and can enjoy streaming music to your system.

TV Connection HDMI (ARC)

 

1. Connect your HDMI cable (included in the box) to your TV.
2. Locate your TVs HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) port.
3. Find the HDMI OUT on the back of your Enchant 800 or 1300 Soundbar.
4. Now enjoy watching TV and listen to great audio through your Enchant soundbar.

Optical connection

1. Connect your Optical cable (included in the box) to your TV.
2. Find the Optical OUT connection on your TV.
3. Locate the Optical IN on the back of your Enchant soundbar.
4. Enjoy sound through the optical connection.

Using the HDMI Inputs

1. Find an HDMI Cable for your other devices.
2. Use the HDMI inputs on the Enchant Soundbar.
   1. NOTE: Enchant 800 only have one HDMI input port and Enchant 1300 has three HDMI input ports.
3. Switch source using your Remote control or pressing the source selector button.
4. The display on your Enchant device will show which HDMI input you are on.
5. Enjoy watching or playing through your Enchant Soundbar.

 

1. Open the Google Home app 2. Select the LINK VIEW 3. Select SETTINGS. 4. There is a line that says Paired Bluetooth Devices. 5. When you select it, it gives you the option to ENABLE PAIRING MODE. 6. Use your voice - "Hey Google, Open Bluetooth" and LINK VIEW will enable Bluetooth connection. You can disable Bluetooth using "Hey Google, Close Bluetooth" Once you have enabled Bluetooth pairing mode on your LINK VIEW, simply go into your Bluetooth settings menu on your mobile device and connect.

Connecting a Bluetooth device for your Enchant Soundbar

1. Make sure your Enchant soundbar is turned on by pressing the power button
2. There are two ways to enter Bluetooth pairing mode on your Enchant soundbar.
   1. Press the dedicated source button on top of your Enchant soundbar
   2. Press the source button until you see "Bluetooth" in the front of the Enchant display. Below is the order when using the source button (note that on Enchant 800 there is only 1 HDMI)

                  

3. The second option is to use the Remote control included with your Enchant soundbar.
   1. Press the "BT" button on your Remote control.
   2. The display will show "Bluetooth pairing"

                      

4. Now that your Enchant soundbar is in pairing mode it is now time to grab your mobile device.
5. Go to Bluetooth settings.

6. Press the enable Bluetooth button.

7. Select the Enchant soundbar and connect with Bluetooth.

You can now stream any music from your favorite device directly to the Enchant soundbar, ENJOY!
 

You can clean it by wiping it gently with a damp cloth. Take extra care not to let water get into the speaker chamber, as it will damage the speaker drivers.

The battery is charged using an included USB-A to USB-C USB fabric cable. It will be fully charged for 2 hrs. Note, this cable is only for charging the battery, it will not deliver audio.

To enjoy the wireless charging feature for your InfinityLab power bank, below are the instructions on how to activate it.

1. Press the power button (located on the front side, next to the battery indicator).
2. Place your device on top of the power bank.
3. The LED indicator on the side of the power bank will light up, indicating that the product is "charging."
