  • What languages are supported by JBL QuantumENGINE?
    The JBL QuantumENGINE supports up to 20 languages. You can select the preferred language in the system section.
  • What kinds of sensors do the Vi headphones have? Can they track my heart rate?
    The Vi headphones have a couple different sensors, including a touch sensor (for interacting with Vi), a gyroscope (for rotational motion), accelerometer (for movement or vibrations) and a barometer (for elevation / atmospheric pressure). Plus they house a “custom” sensor that uses visible-light and infrared LEDs along with photodiodes, all in the left ear bud, to determine your heart rate. The headphones can also talk to your iPhone/Android's GPS and Wi-Fi to help with figuring out location and other information.
  • What is Wireless Stereo Boost pairing mode?
    The Onyx Studio 8 features Wireless Stereo Boost which allows you to connect two Onyx Studio 8 speakers together for a more powerful listening experience. Please note: You cannot connect the Onyx Studio 8 to other Onyx Studio speakers such as the Onyx Studio 7, 6 and 5.
  • What is Window Sonic Spatial Surround Sound?

  • What is the requirement for the JBL Everest GA series?
    These are the supported languages for the Everest GA series.

  • What is the rated power of the OMNI BAR+ system?
    Both the OMNI BAR+ and its subwoofer have 200W of power amplification, which means that total system power is 400 W.
  • What is the rated power of the Omni 50+ speaker with and without AC power?
    The Omni 50+ rated power with AC power connected is 4 X 25 Watt. When using battery only, the rated power is 4 X 15 Watt.
  • What is the procedure to reset Xtreme?
    With the speaker ON, press and hold the VOL+ and Pause/Play buttons for 5-6 seconds. The Xtreme shuts down, and is now reset. You will need to 'forget' the speaker in Bluetooth settings on your phone/tablet in order to pair it again.
  • What is the length?
    JBL Bar 9.1 is 884 mm (without the surrounds in charging position). Surrounds add approx. 160 mm on each side, in charging position.

  • What is the difference between the Inspire 500 and the Inspire 700?
    The only difference between the 500 and 700 series is that the 700 model provides you with a charging case. The features and functionality on the actual headphones themselves are the same.
  • What is the difference between the Focus 500 and the Focus 700?
    The only difference between the 500 and 700 series is that the 700 model provides you with a charging case. The features and functionality on the actual headphones themselves are the same.
  • What is the difference between the 10.000 and the 20.000 mAH battery size stated on the box?
    The physical battery in Boombox has a capacity of 10.000mAh @7.4V. This is the charged battery storage. When outputting ( so power from the battery is drawn ), it's using 3.7V, half the storage voltage, which will give you 74Wh - equivalent to a 20.000mAh battery with power stored at 3.7V.
  • What is the difference between Soundgear and Soundgear BTA?
    The difference is the BTA unit, which is a Bluetooth transmitter. The Soundgear BTA comes with the BTA unit in the box. The Soundgear does not. The BTA can be connected (with a signal cable) to a TV set, a CD player, or any other stereo line-level source, and can then stream this signal to the Soundgear wirelessly, via Bluetooth. TV sound or game sound are possible, since the BTA and the Soundgear use aptX Low Latency, which reduces the audio delay to levels, where picture and sound will be closely synchronized. This is also the secret behind the option to connect two Soundgears to one BTA unit, for two people to share a TV transmission, or a video game. Actually, you can use the BTA to stream to most other Bluetooth headphones and loudspeakers, but only if these devices also support aptX LL will the delay be low enough for video use.
  • What is the difference between JBL QuantumSURROUND and DTS?
    The JBL QuantumSURROUND algorithm is specifically designed from the ground up to work with JBL Quantum gaming headsets—the software perfectly complements the hardware for incredibly realistic immersion. JBL QuantumSURROUND provides a strong sense of externalization, meaning that sound feels like it’s coming from loudspeakers in a professional listening room—or from the game world around you. With other spatialized audio solutions, it still feels like the sound is coming from the headphones, or just outside of them.
  • What is the difference between HDMI 2.0 and HDMI 2.0a?
    You'll have all the benefits from HDMI 2.0, but with 2.0a you will also have HDR (High Dynamic Range). Don't confuse HDR with cameras, this is used for TV's that support HDR content. In short, if a Blu-Ray supports HDR, it can enhanced dark scenes from a movie with this option.
  • What is the diameter of the speaker unit inside the AKG N60NC and N60NC Wireless?
    These two models have 40 mm speaker units.
  • What is Dolby Atmos and what does it do?
    Dolby Atmos is a 3D surround sound format.
    Using Dolby Atmos, the soundbar can reproduce multi-channel surround sound, including a virtual height channel.

  • What is connect+?
    JBL Connect+ can wirelessly link more than 100 JBL Connect+ enabled speakers together to amplify the party
  • What HDCP version is featured in the AVR and BDS models?
    All AVR models up to and including 151S, 161S and 171S feature HDCP version 1.4. (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection). This is also true for BDS 280, 580, 280S and 580S. It is not possible to update to version 2.2 with any software/firmware update, as this requires a hardware change. Future models may feature version 2.2, made for UHD/4k content.
  • What happens if you have multiple JBL LINK speakers, will all react to "Hey Google" or "OK Google"?
    All speakers are set to react when you use the keywords to interact with Google. To eliminate multiple speakers talking at the same time, using the "Microphone Mute" button will stop the speaker from reacting to the keywords.
  • What FOD (Foreign object detection) means for InifnityLab Wireless devices
    FOD (foreign object detection) is a security guarantee that must be included in Qi certification.
    This means our Infinity Lab Qi-certified power bank can detect if a foreign object, such as metal, is on its surface.  
    If that happens, the wireless charger either stops charging or does not start charging at all.
  • What else can I do with the QuantumENGINE?
    You can adjust equalizer, RGB LED effects, calibrate Quantum ONE headtracking, change microphone settings and update the headset's firmware.
  • What do the leds indicate on my JBL Boombox?
    Power button, no light: Product is OFF. Power button, constant light: Product is ON. Power button: constant white, when no Bluetooth device connected. Power button, flashing blue in Bluetooth pairing mode. Power button, constant blue light: Bluetooth connected. Battery indicator LEDs: Five LEDs show battery level. When charging, the blinking LED shows how far charging has progressed. When fully charged, the LED lights will turn off. JBL Connect button flashes white in connection mode. When connected: constant light.
  • What do the buttons do on the Vi Personal Trainer?
    (+) Button A short press will increase the volume. A long press will skip to the next track. (-) Button A short press will decrease the volume. A long press will skip back a track. Middle (Multifunction Button) A short press will play/pause music or answer/end calls. A long press on the middle button will turn the device on/off.
  • What do I need to create a 5.1 wireless surround system with my OMNI BAR+?
    All products must be on Wi-Fi 5GHz network, and you need two additional OMNI+ speakers of the same model (2 x OMNI 20+ for example) to create 5.1 wireless surround sound.
  • What does the Sound Feedback button on the HK SB20 remote control do ?
    The sound feedback is the tone you hear when you send a command to the soundbar. This confirmation tone can be switched off, if you do not want it to be heard.
  • What does the Sound Calibration function do?
    The calibration sound setup process ensures the soundbar delivers the best 3D surround effects for any interior and room layout.
  • What does the Moment button do?
    It is a personalization feature that allows you to customize your favorite music track, auto-off timing, and music volume.
    Once set up, you can directly access it through the remote control or within the JBL ONE App.
