  • Firmware Information - JBL Firmware Update App

    If you are experiencing issues with your headphones' Bluetooth disconnecting and reconnecting while on standby, there is a new Firmware Update app to resolve this issue. Start by downloading the app  "JBL Firmware Update" (see links below).

    Once downloaded, you can update your headphones firmware from there.

  • EQ Settings and Surround Information
    In order to adjust your EQ settings you must follow these instructions:   In your Windows 10 taskbar, right click on the volume icon. It should bring up your selected output device. If “Speakers (JBL Quantum *model* Game)” is not selected, please proceed to the next step. QUantum ONE.png
    In the upper right hand corner, select the arrow. This will display a list of output devices on your PC. Please select “Speakers (JBL Quantum *model* Game)” After selecting 'speakers' you will now be able to adjust your EQ settings to your preference. Quantum-one_2
  • Endurance Series Headphones: Switching Devices
    To pair to a different device, double tap and hold your finger on the JBL logo for 5 seconds until you see the LED light flash blue. Make sure that the device you are trying to connect to is in range and in pairing mode. You should see the Endurance headphone pop up on your discoverable devices within a few seconds and the flashing LED light should now be a solid blue.
  • Endurance Series Headphones: Charging
    Fully charge the earbuds along with the charging case before the first use. The charging case is for charging the earbuds only. LED behaviors: 1 LED- 25% 2 LED-25%-50% 3 LED-50%-75% 4 LED-75%-99% NO LED-100% Fully Charged You can keep the earbuds in standby mode for up to 3 hours without having to return them to the case. beyond this point the earbuds must be returned to the case for charging. You should receive up to 4 hours of playback with additional 24 hours of backup power from the charging case.
  • Endurance Series Headphones: Apt X
    The Endurance headphones do not support Apt X or AAC audio codecs.
  • Endurance Dive Headphones: MP3 Information. How to add music, play function.
    Here is how to add music to the Dive Headphones: 1. Place the MP3 music files that you want to transfer to the Dive headphones on your computer, where you can find them again. The sequence is not important, they will be played in alphanumerical sequence. If you want to have a special sequence to your tracks, you can add a number as the first file name. 2. Connect the Dive to your computer with the USB cable. Please use the cable that came with the headphones, since other USB cables may be wired for charging only, and may not work. 3. Your Dive will now pop up in your explorer folder overview as a new drive. Total capacity is about 991 MB. 4. Now you simply drag-and-drop the MP3 files from their location onto the Dive, or you mark the files, copy them and paste them onto the Dive. Do not use folders of any kind, and do not try to place other file types on the Dive's memory. MP3 files with a resolution of 320 kbits/second is maximum quality possible. Please note that the owner's manual contains an error about random play, stating that MP3 play will always be done in random sequence. Unfortunately, this is an error. All replay of MP3 files from the internal memory is alphanumerical, NOT random. As mentioned above, you can add a number to the track title, and the tracks will be played in numerical order, until no more numbers are present, after which replay is in alphabetical order.
  • Enabling or disabling Demo mode.

    1. Press the Play and Boost button at the same time for 5 seconds.
    2. Depending on what state your JBL Partybox is in, either you enter Demo mode or disabling it.
      1. NOTE: In Demo mode, you cannot use the JBL Partybox as most features and buttons are not working.

  • Do you need a phone to use Vi?
    Yes, a phone with GPS capabilities is needed so that the Vi Fitness app can start and stop workouts, track biometrics, measure and store data, track features like elevation and location, and play music during training. We support iOS (9+) and Android OS (Lollipop +) devices however we recommend having the latest OS on any device for the best Vi experience.
  • Do you have a guide that explains the best placement for the OMNI+ speakers in a house?
    Every home is different, so it is difficult to provide a universal guide that suits it all. What you can do is check the number of available access points in your home by performing a Wi-Fi network scan using a mobile device. Then select the Wi-Fi channel that isn't as busy as the rest. Also, check how much noise each speaker has using the Harman Kardon Controller app. Simply go into the settings menu and select "Send us feedback" to see the results, signals between -40 dB and -62 dB are considered good.
  • Do the UA Train headphones support AptX low latency?
    No. UA Train does not support AptX™ and AptX HD™ audio codecs.
  • Do the Flip 4 and Charge 3 float in water?
    No, the IP waterproof specification means that these speakers can be immersed in water 1 m deep for 30 minutes. It does not mean that they can float, so please be careful. If dropped, they will sink to the bottom.
  • Do the Everest Series headphones support AAC or aptX?
    Sorry, neither AAC nor aptX are supported.
  • Do not use the Integrated cable to charge your InfinityLab Power bank
    The integrated cable only serves as output to charge your devices.  Please use the input port to recharge your power bank.
  • Do JBL Club Headphones Support aptX?
    JBL Club headphones do not support aptX. There are a number of different platforms available and our choice was driven by the one that provides the combination of best sound quality and user experience. The platform that we have selected perfectly fits the requirements of the JBL Club series including voice integration and audio customization whilst supplying the Hi Res-certified headphones with the quality of audio they deserve.
  • Do I need to close the USB cap for the speaker to be waterproof?
    Yes, it is needed to close the USB cap completely for waterproof.
  • Does this speaker have an Aux Input?
    This speaker does not have an Aux Input, so no analog connection is possible.
  • Does this headphone support JBL QuantumSURROUND?
    The JBL Quantum 100 is not equipped with JBL QuantumSURROUND. You can consider to purchase the JBL Quantum 300, which comes with a USB dongle and access to JBL QuantumENGINE. 
  • Does this headphone support JBL QuantumSURROUND?

    The JBL Quantum 200 is not equipped with JBL QuantumSURROUND. You can consider to purchase the Quantum 300, which comes with a USB dongle and access to JBL QuantumENGINE. 

  • Does the US Train feature an audio cable?
    Yes. The UA Train features a detachable audio cable with a one button remote. (Please note: you cannot use bluetooth or TalkThru when using the cable connection.)
  • Does the UA Sport Wireless Flex feature volume control?
    Yes. You have the ability to control the volume which is located on the RIGHT arm of the neckband.
  • Does the Tune600BTNC feature an audio cable?
    Yes. The 600BTNC features an audio cable that you can use if you do not wish to use the headphones via wirelessly.
  • Does the T205 have volume control?
    No. Because it features a one button universal microphone, it does not give you the ability to control the volume.
  • Does the T205 have a microphone?
    Yes, the T205 features a one button universal microphone that gives you the ability to pause/play, answer/hang up calls, and skip tracks.
  • Does the T110BT have volume control?
    Yes, the T110BT features a three button inline microphone which allows you to pause/play skip tracks, answer calls and control the volume.
  • Does the Soundgear support aptX?
    Yes, Soundgear supports aptX LL (Low Latency). (aptX is a way of packing more information into a compressed version of a signal).
  • Does the size of my head or height impact the performance of JBL QuantumSURROUND?
    How does the brain tell where a sound is coming from? The slight difference in the arrival time of a sound between two ears helps you understand the angle of the sound source from the head. Everyone hears a little differently based on their individual anatomy. This is why it’s important for the QuantumENGINE to know your height and head size—it adjusts to provide the most precise experience possible.
  • Does the SB20 soundbar have on-screen display (OSD) to check volume etc?
    No, the HDMI connection is used for audio return channel only, there is no on-screen display function to show settings on the TV screen.
  • Does the Reflect Fit feature volume control?
    Yes, the volume control buttons are located on the LEFT arm of the neckband.
  • Does the Quantum headphone support the Mic monitoring feature?
    Yes. You can configure the volume of the mic monitoring in JBL QuantumENGINE. And the default setting of the mic monitoring is set of “OFF”.
  • Does the OMNI BAR+ support remote control learning?
    Yes, press and hold the Surround button on the OMNI BAR+ until it starts to blink amber. You are now in pairing mode. Press Volume+ on your OMNI BAR+, then press Volume+ on your remote control. The surround button will quickly flash white, to indicate it has learned Volume+. Repeat for Volume-, and Mute, and then hold down the Surround button to exit remote control learning.
  • Does the OMNI BAR+ support 4K movies?
    No, since the OMNI BAR+ does not have any HDMI input connections, it is only your source, connected to the TV, (and of course your TV) that need to be 4K compatible.
  • Does the N60NC Wireless feature real leather on the ear cups and headband?
    No. The ear cups and headband are made from an animal-free synthetic protein leather.
  • Does the N20LT feature volume control?
    Yes, the N20LT features a 3 button microphone that allows you to answer calls, pause/play, skip tracks and control the volume on your IOS device.
  • Does the microphone feature volume and track control on the Tune 205BT?
    Yes, the microphone allows you to skip tracks and control volume. To skip tracks forward, press and hold the volume + for 3 seconds. To skip tracks backward, press and hold the volume - for 3 seconds.
  • Does the JR 300 have a microphone?
    No. The JR 300 is a standard plug and play headphone with no microphone or track features.
  • Does the JBL QuantumONE calibration mic calibrate both ears?
    Yes, the calibration is done for both left and right ears
  • Does the JBL QuantumENGINE software have minimum system requirements?
    The JBL QuantumENGINE supports Windows 10 release 1909 and above and Windows 7 Service Pack 1.
  • Does the JBL Free have volume control?
    No. The JBL Free does not feature volume control. It features pause/play and track control.
  • Does the JBL Boombox play at louder volume than the Xtreme?
    Yes, the Boombox plays at 3,5dB higher volume than the JBL Xtreme. This results in a 150% volume increase, compared to the JBL Xtreme
  • Does the J88a feature volume control?
    No. The J88a features a one button microphone that does not have volume control. The one button microphone allows you to pause/play, skip tracks and answer/hang up calls.
  • Does the Inspire 500/700 feature volume control?
    Yes. The Inspire 500/700 series features a three button microphone that enables you to control the volume.
  • Does the Harman Kardon Allure support text messaging?
    No, this feature is not supported in our Harman Kardon Allure speaker. This might change with future updates. You can write text messages to your Amazon friends via the Alexa app.
  • Does the Harman Kardon Allure/portable work in any country?
    Harman Kardon Allure/portable will only work in selected countries such as United States, Germany, United Kingdom and soon France. To use the Allure on your network requires two different apps. 1. HK Alexa setup - To connect it to your Wi-Fi network (Only available in the countries above) 2. Amazon Alexa app - To control Alexa and add streaming services to your Allure speaker. However, in some countries, French, German or English is spoken, but you still cannot use the Allure, because the Amazon Alexa app cannot be downloaded. This is a decision made by Amazon. The Alexa app is only available in some countries, and this is not only dependent on language. Therefore, if you plan on buying an Allure speaker, and have it shipped to a country outside the selected regions, you will not be able to use it on Wi-Fi, and Alexa voice commands will not work. Only Amazon knows if and when they will extend the app availability to more countries.
  • Does the Flip 3 SE support JBL Connect / JBL Connect+?
    No, the Flip 3 Stealth Edition does not support JBL Connect or Connect+. The Stealth edition can not be paired with other JBL devices.
  • Does the Everest 110 feature volume control?
    Yes, the Everest 110 features volume control that is compatible with most smart devices. The volume control is located on the inline microphone.
  • Does the Bluetooth cable for AKG N5005 support AAC and aptX?
    Yes, both the AAC and the aptX codecs are supported. aptX HD and aptX Low Latency are not supported. Please note that N5005 is an in-ear headphone capable of extremely high audio reproduction quality. Wireless transmission cannot deliver the quality that a first-class analog, cabled signal can. The best possible quality is available with the balanced 4-pole 2.5 mm jack, connected directly to a highest-quality headphone amplifier that supports this connection, fed by the highest quality source.
  • Does the Aura Studio 2 support social mode?
    Yes, The Harman Kardon Aura Studio supports Social mode. With this feature, you can connect up to 3 mobile devices simultaneously by Bluetooth. The last device to start playback will take over.
  • Does the Aura Studio 2 support Siri or Google Now?
    Yes, When connected by Bluetooth from an iOS or Android device, pressing and holding the Bluetooth button for more than 2 seconds on the Aura Studio 2, the Voice Command will open ( iOS > Siri, Android > Google Now )
  • Does the Aura Studio 2 support Harman Dual Sound?
    Yes, The Harman Kardon Aura Studio 2 supports Harman Dual Sound. With this feature, you can connect 2 Dual Sound enabled speakers with eachother.
  • Does the audio cable on the N60NC Wireless feature volume control?
    No. The audio cable features a one button microphone which allows you to pause/play, change tracks and answer/hang up phone calls. It does not give you the ability to control the volume.
  • Does the audio cable on the Everest 750NC feature volume control?
    No the audio cable included with the Everest series headphones has a one-button remote control with microphone. It does not have volume buttons. It can perform pause/play, and gives you the ability to answer and hang up phone calls. However, you can control the volume when the headphones are connected to a source device with Bluetooth, using the buttons on the ear cup.
  • Does the audio cable on the Everest 310/710 feature volume control?
    No the audio cable included with the Everest series headphones is a one button microphone that features pause/play, track control and gives you the ability to answer and hang up phone calls. You are able to control the volume when the headphones are connected through bluetooth.
  • Does my JBL Quantum ONE headset provide game and chat audio balance?
    Yes, you can adjust game and chat audio balance by rotating the puck clockwise and anti clockwise. When rotating the puck, you will feel a notch in the puck that indicates 50 game and 50 chat.
  • Does my Harman Kardon Allure speaker listen all the time?
    The Harman Kardon Allure speaker listens for the hotword "Alexa", and when our speaker detects it then it will open up a connection to the Amazon server and store your search history on your account. You can mute the mircrophone by tapping the Microphone button on the Allure speaker, this will stop the speaker from listening and will not react to Alexa until you unmute it.
  • Does my EQ have any impact on the JBL QuantumSURROUND/localization/positioning?
    In general, EQ shouldn’t affect localization — except in the case of the EQ being used very strongly.
  • Does JBL Soundgear have express charging?
    Yes, in two hours, you can charge it to approx. 6 hours of playing time.
  • Does JBL QuantumSURROUND work with every game?
    JBL QuantumSURROUND works with every game, but the experience is better when your game outputs in surround sound. If your game outputs only 2-channel audio, using JBL QuantumSURROUND will sound like a pair of studio monitors in front of you. You’ll be able to hear the reflections of the sound in the room, but as with any stereo setup, you won’t have any discrete sound sources behind you. With a full 7.1 mix, you’ll be able to hear and locate sounds behind and above you.
  • Does JBL Quantum ONE provide surround sound?
    The JBL Quantum ONE provides QuantumSURROUND via the USB connection on PC. You can download QuantumENGINE here: JBLQuantum.com
  • Does JBL Quantum ONE provide mic monitoring (side tone) feature?
    Yes. You can configure the volume of the mic monitoring in JBL QuantumENGINE. The default setting of the mic monitoring is "OFF”.
