JBL QuantumSURROUND technology can be used with any type of multi-channel audio content. For example: Netflix content, Blu-ray, and music mixed in 5.1 or 7.1 surround.

Getting started with the checklist

• A Harman Kardon Citation device(s).
• Latest version of the Google Home app installed on your mobile device. 
• Latest version of the Google app  (Android only) installed on your mobile device
• A Google Account (you can create one online via Google).
• A mobile device with either iOS or Android support.
  • ​Must have iOS 10 or higher
  • Must have Android 5.0 and higher
  • There is no support for PC set up.
• Your mobile device must support 5 GHz Wireless Network connection in order to set up our Harman Kardon Citation device. Note: Wireless Network with WPA2-Enterprise encryption is not supported.
• An internet connection from your local ISP (Internet Service Provider).
• Your Wireless Network must secured with WPA2 Encryption (Enterprise mode NOT supported). 
• Availability and performance of certain features, services and applications are device- and network-dependent and may not be available in all areas; subscription(s) may be required, and additional terms, conditions and/or charges may apply.

Once you have all requirement and what is needed then follow the video below that shows you how to install your device.

 

Under normal usage, the battery should remain at 80% capacity after 300 charge cycles.

What is a charge cycle?

Your power bank is 100% charged, and then one cycle means when you discharge the device to 0% and charge it all the way up to 100%. That is one full charge cycle.

The Mute+ATMOS combination button press to determine the Battery Status was originally designed for production line testing, not for consumer usage.  We determined that this testing method was inaccurate and began testing using specialized external equipment.  As of Software Version V21.13.11.80, the ability to check Battery Status inaccurately has been removed.

When charging the satellite speakers you can be confident that the Battery Status is 100% when the LED indicator goes  out.  As well, when the LED begins blinking red, you are at 20% and should recharge or plug in your speakers.

1. Fixed a grouping issue with other Chromecast built-in speakers (read below):
   1. 3rd party Chromecast built-in speakers using a Google SDK less than 1.52GM2 can not be grouped with 1st party Google speakers any longer. This update brings the Bar 9.1 up to 1.52GM2, which means once again, it can be grouped with 1st party Google speakers
2. Software update resolves the issues with the "Google Home" app if you are using an Android phone (read below):
   1. Speakers with an SDK less than 1.52GM2 set up with a Google Pixel phone need to use a new, additional app called the "Device Utility app" to complete the Wi-Fi setup. After this update, customers may use the Google Home app as normal for Wi-Fi setup
3. General software and performance improvements:
   1. Sometimes there was a 0.5sec audio drop during ARC streaming with PCM format, now improved!
   2. Import MTK patch to solve continuous distortion after connecting Apple TV to a Sony TV while playing PCM stream in eARC source.

Instructions for software upgrade
 

1. Download the latest software version from JBL.com and bin file: Unify.BIN
2. Prepare one empty USB Stick and create a new folder (named “UPG”) in the root directory, then copy the bin file to the new UPG folder.
3. Please mount the two detachable speakers onto the main Soundbar and subwoofer upgrade port to AUX input, then power on the Soundbar.
4. Please insert the USB Stick into the Soundbar USB port on its rear panel and long-press: [POWER] and [VOL- ] on the Soundbar for 10 seconds to start the software upgrade. Wait for the software upgrade to complete. The Soundbar will go back to standby mode.
5. To Check Software version: 

• Press and hold the DIM DISPLAY button on the remote control for 5 seconds in any source, followed by the short press of the SOUND MODE and then the short press of the NIGHT MODE button.
• To check the subwoofer software version, please connect the subwoofer to Soundbar via a 3.5mm AUX-in cable and follow the above procedure

Yes, the foam pads are detachable. They are fixed with a flexible lip that sits in a groove all the way round, and are easy to replace.

UA Train features an IPX4 rating which offers protection from a splash of water in any direction for at least 5 minutes. They cannot be fully submerged in water.

There are no additional ear tips for the Tune 205BT. These headphones do not feature different size ear tip variations.

Yes. Our E series/Duet headphones are made with synthetic protein leather.

No. The ear pads are made from a synthetic protein leather.

No. The Everest 150NC do not feature an IPX rating and are not designed to be overexposed to moisture. Overexposure can compromise the controls and sound.

No. The Everest 110 are not sweat proof and do not have an IPX rating that protects the headphones from sweat and water. Over exposure to sweat and water can cause significant damage to the headphones.

The JBL Bar series soundbars supports three CEC commands: - System Standby - One Touch Play - Audio Return Channel.

In order to skip the tracks on the Y500 headphones, slide and hold Volume Up (to skip forward) or Volume Down (to skip backwards) for 3 seconds. These buttons are located on the LEFT ear cup.

In order to power on and pair the Y500, make sure that the device you are attempting to connect to has the BT on and is in search mode. Move the ON/OFF button from its OFF position to its ON position, which is the middle of the cutout located on the RIGHT ear cup. It will remain there, and the headphones are now ON. The blue LED will start blinking, indicating that Bluetooth pairing is possible. If you need to reset the BT pairing, move the ON/OFF button against the spring load button to the opposite position of the OFF position, and keep it there for 4- 5 seconds. Now the BT system is reset, and new pairing is possible. Please Note: The Y500 features Multi-point Connectivity which allows you to switch from two different devices.

The Y500 features the speed charge (5 min charging time = 1 Hour Playtime) In order to charge the headphones, use the micro USB charger that is included in the packaging. The charging port is located at the bottom of the RIGHT ear cup. Once the headphones are charging, you will see a solid red light next to the port. Once the headphones are fully charged, the red light indicator will turn off. Please Note: You cannot use the headphones via BT while they are charging. However, you can use the headphones via audio cable while charging.

The Y500 headphones do not support Apt-X audio codec. However, they do support AAC audio codec.

Press and hold Volume Up or Volume Down located on the LEFT ear cup for 3 seconds to skip forward or backward.

Move the ON/OFF button from its OFF position to its ON position, which is the middle of the cutout. It will remain there, and the headphones are now ON. The blue LED will start blinking, indicating that Bluetooth pairing is possible. If you need to reset the BT pairing, move the ON/OFF button against the spring load, to the opposite position of the OFF position, and keep it there for about 5 seconds. Now the BT system is reset, and new pairing is possible.

You can activate the Ambient Aware and TalkThru functions and assign one of them to the smart-button. AA will open the external microphones and mute the music so you can hear what is going on around you. TalkThru permits you to have a conversation with other people in the room, just by pressing the button.

You cannot disengage ANC, it is always on when the headphones are on. However, you can listen to music via cable if you do not switch the N700 on at all, which means that ANC will not be active.

The memory can support up to 8 paired devices, but only one device can play at a time on the N700NC headphones.

You can use the headphones while charging but only the wired connection will work. No active functions are available since they cannot be switched on.

In order to use the headphones for phone calls, press the multi-button once when the phone rings. You need to be connected to your device via bluetooth.
