Driving the low-end frequencies is a 12-inch (300-millimeter), pure-pulp driver, which delivers realistic and resounding bass; the midrange frequencies emerge smoothly and accurately from a 5-inch (125-millimeter), polymer-coated, pure-pulp cone; the highs are covered by a 1-inch (25-millimeter) pure-titanium dome tweeter, which broadcasts frequencies up to 40kHz, well above the range of human hearing. The speaker comes with midrange and high-frequency attenuators so that you can tailor the speaker’s sound for the room where you install it. It measures only 14.25 by 23.5 by 11.7 inches (362 by 597 by 299 millimeters) without the front grille and weighs 34.5 pounds (17 kilograms), so you can use it as either a floorstanding monitor or a bookshelf speaker.
