Verify your TV supports the ARC feature.Make sure you enable the external speakers/ARC/digital audio output on your TV, this varies by TV manufacturer. Set the AVR1x1S to the TV input. Go into the AVR menu settings and under System Settings, make sure Audio Return Channel is set to Auto and set the TV Control to on.
