If the buttons on your portable speaker are not working properly or are unresponsive while plugged into a power source, please try running the speaker on battery. If the buttons perform correctly while running on battery, this means your power supply is not providing enough current/amps. Bluetooth keeps on playing, even if you connect something and play to the AUX input. BT keeps on playing, since it has first priority. If you pause or stop BT play, any source playing to the AUX input will now be heard. If you resume play on the BT source, it will take over, and the AUX source is no longer heard, but will of course keep on playing, since there is no way to send a pause or stop signal to the AUX source via the line cable. Make sure that the unit you are attempting to connect to is in pairing mode under Bluetooth Settings. Press the power button located on far right outer rim of the speaker. If this is the first time connecting the unit, it will immediately go into pairing mode. HK Onyx 4 Studio should show up on your discoverable devices within 3-5 seconds. Once you choose the HK Onyx Studio 4 on your device, you will be connected and ready to experience that superior Harman Kardon sound.Was this helpful? Thank you for your feedback!

Download the HK Connect app to your mobile device. Make sure that the Onyx Studio 4 speaker is connected successfully to your mobile device. The HK Connect app should recognize the Onyx Studio 4 within the first few seconds.
