  • Does the Soundgear support aptX?
    Yes, Soundgear supports aptX LL (Low Latency). (aptX is a way of packing more information into a compressed version of a signal).
  • Does the T110BT have volume control?
    Yes, the T110BT features a three button inline microphone which allows you to pause/play skip tracks, answer calls and control the volume.
  • Does the T205 have a microphone?
    Yes, the T205 features a one button universal microphone that gives you the ability to pause/play, answer/hang up calls, and skip tracks.
  • Does the T205 have volume control?
    No. Because it features a one button universal microphone, it does not give you the ability to control the volume.
  • Does the Tune600BTNC feature an audio cable?
    Yes. The 600BTNC features an audio cable that you can use if you do not wish to use the headphones via wirelessly.
  • Does the UA Sport Wireless Flex feature volume control?
    Yes. You have the ability to control the volume which is located on the RIGHT arm of the neckband.
  • Does the US Train feature an audio cable?
    Yes. The UA Train features a detachable audio cable with a one button remote. (Please note: you cannot use bluetooth or TalkThru when using the cable connection.)
  • Does the Wi-Fi indicator on the front of JBL Playlist, has to be at full signal to work?
    If the Wi-Fi indicator has all 3 LED lights on, then the signal to the speaker is extremely good, and if only 2 LED light up, then the signal will be good. If you only have 1 LED light or No LED light we suggest moving the speaker to a different location for a better Wi-Fi signal and better audio experience.
  • Does the Xtreme has the same sound with and without AC power connected?
    If you are playing on battery only, you may experience slightly lower bass level and dynamics near maximum volume. If you are AC connected and playing via your Xtreme speaker, you will hear an increase in bass performance. The reason that bass performance is lowered when playing on battery is to reduce power consumption for you to have longer playing time from your Xtreme speaker.
  • Does the Y50BT have volume control?
    Yes, the Y50BT volume controls are located on the bottom of the right ear cup. You also have the power/pause/play and track controls located on the bottom right ear cup of the headphones.
  • Does this feature a microphone?
    Yes, this headphone features a one button microphone that gives you the ability to pause/play, skip tracks, and answer/hang up phone calls.
  • Does this headphone feature the automatic shut off?
    No, the Reflect Mini BT does not feature the automatic shut off.
  • Does this headphone feature volume control?
    Yes, this headphone features a three button microphone that features volume control, track control, and can receive phone calls.
  • Does this headphone support JBL QuantumSURROUND?

    The JBL Quantum 200 is not equipped with JBL QuantumSURROUND. You can consider to purchase the Quantum 300, which comes with a USB dongle and access to JBL QuantumENGINE.

  • Does this model have detachable cable?
    Yes, the cable is detachable.
  • Does this speaker have an Aux Input?
    This speaker does not have an Aux Input, so no analog connection is possible.
  • Does Trunote work only when ANC is ON?
    Yes, ANC needs to be ON.
  • Do I have the option to control the volume from the detachable inline remote cable?
    Unfortunately, there is no volume control on the inline microphone. You have the options to answer phone calls, skip tracks and pause and play.
  • Do I need the App to update the software in the Everest Elite headphones
    For headphones with Version 4.0 of the Firmware, the first update will be done via USB cable, and after the first update, all subsequent updates will be delivered over the air. For headsets with version 5.0 of the firmware, all updates will be delivered over the air, via the app
  • Do I need to calibrate the head tracker sensor?
    The head tracker in the Quantum ONE uses your movements to calibrate the sensors. You can speed up the calibration process by doing the following: * Imagine that the headphone is a standard cube with 6 faces (Front, Back, Left, Right, Top, Bottom) * Orient the headphone so that it is sitting on each face of "the cube" sequentially. For example, start with the headphone positioned normally (bottom face of the cube down). Then rotate it so that the right side of the cube is facing down. Then continue through the rest of the faces of the cube. * Hold the headphone in each position for 1 second * Once all the faces of the device have been rotated, set the headphone down on a stationary surface for 2 or 3 seconds.
  • Do I need to charge from a certain kind of charger, or can I use all USB sockets?
    Each headphone is shipped with a micro USB charging cable. USB is the only way to charge the headphones, and all normal USB chargers may be used.
  • Do I need to close the USB cap for the speaker to be waterproof?
    Yes, it is needed to close the USB cap completely for waterproof.
  • Do I need to link my Google account to my JBL LINK 10, 20, 300 or 500?
    JBL LINK speakers require a Google account to operate. Your search history on the JBL LINK speaker will appear in your Google account's search history. Also, if you give the JBL LINK speaker permission, it may access your data saved in other Google services, like Calendar and Gmail to answer questions you ask.
  • Do JBL Club Headphones Support aptX?
    JBL Club headphones do not support aptX. There are a number of different platforms available and our choice was driven by the one that provides the combination of best sound quality and user experience. The platform that we have selected perfectly fits the requirements of the JBL Club series including voice integration and audio customization whilst supplying the Hi Res-certified headphones with the quality of audio they deserve.
  • Do not use the Integrated cable to charge your InfinityLab Power bank
    The integrated cable only serves as output to charge your devices.  Please use the input port to recharge your power bank.
  • Do the Everest and Everest Elite headphones support AAC or aptX?
    Sorry, neither AAC nor aptX are supported.
  • Do the Everest headphones have to be powered on before you connect them to the computer?
    No, the tool will tell you to switch them ON when necessary.
  • Do the Everest headphones need to be fully charged before attempting the update?
    It is not a bad idea to have the headphone charged before updating, but only if it is completely empty will there be any difference. To update via cable, a USB cable connection must be established between the headphone and the computer, and since the cable is also used for charging, there will be power to the headphone as long as it is connected to the computer. If the battery is depleted, it may be necessary to wait a little while, until a basic level of charging has been reached. Please note that the ELITE models with the most recent software permit wireless upgrade, directly from the control app on a smartphone. In this case, it is of course necessary to have power enough in the battery to sustain the whole upgrading process, since it takes place without cable.
  • Do the Everest Series headphones support AAC or aptX?
    Sorry, neither AAC nor aptX are supported.
  • Do the Flip 4 and Charge 3 float in water?
    No, the IP waterproof specification means that these speakers can be immersed in water 1 m deep for 30 minutes. It does not mean that they can float, so please be careful. If dropped, they will sink to the bottom.
  • Do the normal BT models have voice prompt, or can it be changed?
    Yes , all 5 models have voice prompts. The Elite models have the added option of turning off the voice prompts in the settings menu of the app. The Everest 300 and 700, as well as the successors 310 and 710, have the option of choosing between voice prompts and tone prompts. This is how you do it: Switch the headphones ON. Press and hold the Shareme and the Volume Plus buttons for about two seconds. Switch the headphones OFF. You will now hear the OFF prompt having changed to the prompt you did not use before, and you will hear this one until you change it again.
  • Do the UA Train headphones support AptX low latency?
    No. UA Train does not support AptX™ and AptX HD™ audio codecs.
  • Do you have a guide that explains the best placement for the OMNI+ speakers in a house?
    Every home is different, so it is difficult to provide a universal guide that suits it all. What you can do is check the number of available access points in your home by performing a Wi-Fi network scan using a mobile device. Then select the Wi-Fi channel that isn't as busy as the rest. Also, check how much noise each speaker has using the Harman Kardon Controller app. Simply go into the settings menu and select "Send us feedback" to see the results, signals between -40 dB and -62 dB are considered good.

  • Do you have replacement cables available for my Everest headphones?
    Cables and other spare parts for EVEREST can be obtained from either the distributors or from authorized service centers. Please contact Harman Customer Support to get the necessary contact details.
  • Do you have to be connected bluetooth for the calling features to work?
    Yes. Pair your device with the speaker via bluetooth.
  • Do you need a phone to use Vi?
    Yes, a phone with GPS capabilities is needed so that the Vi Fitness app can start and stop workouts, track biometrics, measure and store data, track features like elevation and location, and play music during training. We support iOS (9+) and Android OS (Lollipop +) devices however we recommend having the latest OS on any device for the best Vi experience.
  • DSP 4086 Tuning Software Crashing/Not Responding

    If your DSP Tuning Software is not responding properly or is crashing, it is likely because the proper USB driver has not yet been installed.  There is an easy fix for this, and it does not require you to uninstall anything.

     
    1. If the tuning software is open, close it.
    2. Go back to your software install files and double-click on “USB Driver”.

    NOTE: Make sure to allow it to make changes to your computer if your anti-virus software requests it.

    1. After the driver is installed, reopen the software.  Your problem should be resolved.
  • Dual Wireless Sound Information
    The Onyx Studio 7 features Dual Wireless Sound which allows you to connect two Onyx Studio 7 speakers together for a more powerful listening experience. Please note: You cannot connect the Onyx Studio 7 to other Onyx Studio speakers such as the Onyx Studio 6 and 5. 
  • During Wireless Dual Sound mode, why is there an interruption when music starts playing via Bluetooth?
    It's normal that music will be interrupted for one or two seconds when entering Wireless Dual Sound mode. The two compatible speakers are synchronizing with each other during this connection process. Once they are in sync you will not experience any further interruption.
  • E55BT Headphones: Track Information
    To skip the tracks forward, you press and hold the volume up button for 3 seconds. To skip tracks backward, press and hold the volume down button for 3 seconds.
  • Ear Pad Cleaning Information
    The ear pads can be removed and washed.
    To remove the ear pads, rotate them anti-clockwise to unlock (see image below).

    The ear pads must be hand washed only, do not machine wash - the water temperature used should be in the range specified below. Then wait for the ear pads to fully dry.

    Once fully dry, align the holes on the inside of the ear pads (highlighted with orange circles in the image below) with the clips on the headphones (located where the red arrows are pointing in the image below), now rotate the ear pad clockwise to lock the ear pads to the headphones again.

  • Enabling or disabling Demo mode.

    2. Depending on what state your JBL Partybox is in, either you enter Demo mode or disabling it.

  • Endurance Dive Headphones: MP3 Information. How to add music, play function.
    Here is how to add music to the Dive Headphones: 1. Place the MP3 music files that you want to transfer to the Dive headphones on your computer, where you can find them again. The sequence is not important, they will be played in alphanumerical sequence. If you want to have a special sequence to your tracks, you can add a number as the first file name. 2. Connect the Dive to your computer with the USB cable. Please use the cable that came with the headphones, since other USB cables may be wired for charging only, and may not work. 3. Your Dive will now pop up in your explorer folder overview as a new drive. Total capacity is about 991 MB. 4. Now you simply drag-and-drop the MP3 files from their location onto the Dive, or you mark the files, copy them and paste them onto the Dive. Do not use folders of any kind, and do not try to place other file types on the Dive's memory. MP3 files with a resolution of 320 kbits/second is maximum quality possible. Please note that the owner's manual contains an error about random play, stating that MP3 play will always be done in random sequence. Unfortunately, this is an error. All replay of MP3 files from the internal memory is alphanumerical, NOT random. As mentioned above, you can add a number to the track title, and the tracks will be played in numerical order, until no more numbers are present, after which replay is in alphabetical order.
  • Endurance Series Headphones: Apt X
    The Endurance headphones do not support Apt X or AAC audio codecs.
  • Endurance Series Headphones: Charging
    Fully charge the earbuds along with the charging case before the first use. The charging case is for charging the earbuds only. LED behaviors: 1 LED- 25% 2 LED-25%-50% 3 LED-50%-75% 4 LED-75%-99% NO LED-100% Fully Charged You can keep the earbuds in standby mode for up to 3 hours without having to return them to the case. beyond this point the earbuds must be returned to the case for charging. You should receive up to 4 hours of playback with additional 24 hours of backup power from the charging case.
  • Endurance Series Headphones: Pairing Information
    If connecting for the first time, the headphone will enter pairing mode automatically after it is powered on. To turn the headphones on, simply spread apart the RIGHT power hook from the cord. You will see solid red LED and then it will flash blue as it begins to search for a device to connect to. The Endurance headphone should pop up on your discoverable devices within a few seconds and you should be connected! If you wish to turn off the headphones, remove them from your ear and allow the RIGHT power hook and cord to close together. This is magnetized, so they should close together with ease.
  • Endurance Series Headphones: Switching Devices
    To pair to a different device, double tap and hold your finger on the JBL logo for 5 seconds until you see the LED light flash blue. Make sure that the device you are trying to connect to is in range and in pairing mode. You should see the Endurance headphone pop up on your discoverable devices within a few seconds and the flashing LED light should now be a solid blue.
  • Endurance Series Headphones: Track Control
    To pause/play press the "L" on the JBL logo located on the RIGHT ear for 1 second. If you want to skip the track forward, press the "L" on the JBL logo on the RIGHT ear hook for 2 seconds. To skip tracks backward, press the "L" on the JBL logo on the RIGHT ear hook for 3-4 seconds.
  • EQ Settings and Surround Information
    In order to adjust your EQ settings you must follow these instructions:   In your Windows 10 taskbar, right click on the volume icon. It should bring up your selected output device. If “Speakers (JBL Quantum *model* Game)” is not selected, please proceed to the next step. QUantum ONE.png
    In the upper right hand corner, select the arrow. This will display a list of output devices on your PC. Please select “Speakers (JBL Quantum *model* Game)” After selecting 'speakers' you will now be able to adjust your EQ settings to your preference. Quantum-one_2
  • Factory Reset Information
    First, remove the speaker from your source device's Bluetooth settings.
    Power on the speaker, then press and hold the Volume + button and Bluetooth button together for 3-5 seconds until the speaker turns off.
    Once turned off, the speaker has been reset to the factory default settings.
  • Factory Reset Instructions
    To reset the device to its factory settings: 
    Power on the speaker. While on, press and hold the power button down for 15-20 seconds until the speaker turns off.

    Now that the speaker has been reset, make sure to remove it from your BT settings if it was once paired to other devices as the BT memory has been reset as well. Once you turn the speaker on again, it should automatically enter into pairing mode with a flashing LED. It should pop up on your discoverable devices under your BT settings and connect within a few seconds. 
  • Factory Reset Instructions for the ClearCall Speaker
    To perform a factory reset:
    First, remove the ClearCall from the list of paired devices in the phone or tablet's Bluetooth settings.
    Then, press and hold the Bluetooth & Volume - buttons for more than 4 seconds to reset the ClearCall to factory settings.
  • Factory Reset Procedure
    To reset the JBL Charge 5, Charge Essential or Charge Essential 2: 

    Volume+ & Play/Pause Long press for 2 seconds while the speaker is ON

    Please note: If the Charge 5 was previously paired with any phones/tablets, please remove the speaker from your list of paired Bluetooth devices. Now it has been restored to its factory settings, it will automatically enter into pairing mode the first time you power it on.
  • Fast charging and protocol technology
    The InfinityLAB charger supports Power Delivery 3.0 to provide you with the fast-charging experience. 
  • Firmware Information - JBL Firmware Update App

    If you are experiencing issues with your headphones' Bluetooth disconnecting and reconnecting while on standby, there is a new Firmware Update app to resolve this issue. Start by downloading the app  "JBL Firmware Update" (see links below).

    Once downloaded, you can update your headphones firmware from there.
