Yes, but only with certain Android telephones. It is not possible to use iPhones. It is necessary to buy a USB 2.0 cable with Micro-B male plug to Micro-B male plug, OTG functionality. (On-The-Go). This cable is available in different lengths from various electronics shops or web shops. Connecting the telephone and the N90Q with this cable will usually open for digital signal transmission immediately, and the amber charging button on the N90Q will light up as an indication of open connection. Yes, you can use cabled audio connection instead of Bluetooth on the N60NC Wireless, if you prefer. You can listen to a cabled source even if the battery is empty, but the noise cancelling function will of course not be available in this case. If the battery is charged, you can switch noise cancellation on or off at will. You do not have to have a cable connected at all.
