  • The Synchros Chrome is actually the Synchros S500 in chrome-plated version. On the right ear cup, you will find two ridges. These are there to make it possible to remove the disc that covers the batteries. You just position your fingernails against the ridges, to turn the disc counter-clockwise, against a small notch resistance. The Chrome is not painted, but plated. This means that the material is now thicker, and the lid can be rather difficult to remove, because the locking notches are squeezed into position. There is no other way than to put pressure on the ridges, press downward and in a counter-clockwise direction at the same time, and press until the notches, or claws, finally let go, and the lid rotates into open position, when it will fall off. If the lid does not budge, it may be necessary to use some kind of tool, but that can damage the chrome surface. In extreme cases, it may have to go to service.

  • There is no feedback informing you which setting you have selected. You must simply switch between them, and decide which one you like best. Usually,it is easiest to hear when the Surround mode is active, and once you have found that mode, you will know that the next two selections will be Standard and Studio. Here is an explanation of the three AKG N90Q Listening Modes: Three different spatial listening modes are provided. Each mode is characterized by a different spatial perception of the apparent acoustic surroundings. The first mode Standard renders the music unprocessed, like in any conventional headphone. This is useful in particular, if you use external processors such as Dolby headphone or DTS headphone X. The second mode Studio brings the sound stage to the front of the head, without adding any room effect, by means of a novel crosstalk circuit derived from a patented, simplified model of head-related transfer functions. The third mode Surround adds simulated reflections around the head, designed so that you perceive the sound stage at a greater distance, without disturbing artifacts such as coloration or reverb. The mode is changed by simply pressing and immediately releasing the button. (This is the same button used to trigger auto calibration). Music being played is temporarily interrupted; the mode is changed immediately, and a brief “brushing” sound is played to illustrate the acoustic effect of the new mode. The music then immediately resumes playing using the new mode.

  • There are 5 sizes of fit enhancers that come with the UA Sport Wireless: (4,5,6,7 & 8). Size 7 on the earbuds and (4,5,6 & 8) labeled on the black poly bags. There are three sizes of ear tips that come with the UA Sport Wireless: small, medium & large. Size medium on the earbuds. Size small and large in the black poly bag. The first time you change the enhancers the material might feel a little stiff. Please make sure to align the funnel of the enhancer tip over the small speaker screen of the headphone casing. To change sizes, remove both the pre-installed ear tip and fit enhancer, starting with the ear tip. When removing the parts, always grab from the base and be careful not to rip the rubber material. Based on your initial experience, identify which size combination may be a better fit. Each size should be clearly labeled in an individual baggy inside your original packaging or you can find the size of the fit enhancers on the inside with a raised stamp marked with either ‘R’ for Right or ‘L’ for Left along with the numbered size. Most people use the same size for Right and Left but it is possible to use different sizes because some ears are not symmetrical. First, align the sound tunnel of the headphone with the hole in the fit enhancer and gently pull the outer edge of the adapter over the edge of the speaker. Next, align the inner grooves of the ear tip with the grooves in the sound tunnel and gently push the ear tip into position. Try a variety of combinations between the enhancers and ear tips to find the best combination, providing comfort, superior sound quality and secure fit. If you’re still having trouble finding the best fit, please contact customer service at jbl.com/contactus
  • The Soundgear Sense earbuds use JBL OpenSound Technology to deliver rich, full-range sound, while minimizing what others nearby can hear. The earbuds sit outside the ear canal, resting securely on the natural curve of the ear and the precision-placed acoustic ports channel sound directly into the ears. The ear canal remains from any blockage, and this allows the user to still hear ambient sounds while listening to music or taking calls.

The oval body of each in-ear, with the chrome stripe, should be away from the head, and be situated in the ear lobe, not stick out directly from the head.

If you do not want to do a complete reset as described above, you can use the following method. Without reset, ELITE will try to re-pair with the last source when switched ON. If the last source is not detected, maybe because you want to use another source device, switch the ELITE off and on again, and make sure that the last source device you used is no longer switched ON. This way the ELITE will not be able to "see" the old source, and it will search for a new one. Now the ELITE will again search for the last paired source, and since it cannot find it after some seconds, it will switch back to be open for pairing with a new source. The LED will blink red/blue as an indication of this. The Everest BT models permit pairing with two source devices simultaneously. If you have used both source pairings, and want to pair to a third source, please perform the reset as described above (hold the ON/OFF button for about 7 seconds with the Everest OFF).
