The subwoofer in my BDS system switches off when I play softly. Can I prevent this from happening?

Yes, by using the manual setup procedure it is possible to increase the signal volume level to the subwoofer, while reducing the level on the subwoofer itself. The reason it switches off is that the standby sensing circuit cannot sense music when the level is very low. By increasing the volume to the subwoofer and reducing its output on the sub itself, the signal sensing circuit has a better chance of recognizing an incoming signal, preventing the sub from switching off.

The top capacitive buttons are sensitive and cause lots of miss-triggering, what can I do?

When you press the power button you will hear a “door locked” tone. This means the top capacitive touch buttons have been locked. At this point you cannot trigger them. With another short press of the power button, you will hear a “door unlocked” tone, which means the top capacitive touch buttons have been unlocked.

The volume level on my headphones is very quiet

If your volume level is quiet, make sure that the TalkThru is not activated on your headphones. In order to deactivate or activate TalkThru, quickly press the ANC button located at the top of the LEFT ear cup. You will hear an audible voice stating, TalkThru On when activated, and 'ANC On' when deactivated.

The Wireless charging speed

The InifilityLab power bank is Qi-certified for a maximum of 10W of Qi wireless charging.
Your device should support Qi charging, and the actual wireless charging speed may vary depending on the device.

For example, iPhone 11 Pro supports Max 7.5W Qi charging, and Samsung Galaxy S21 supports Max 15W QI charging.

Trouble accessing the Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa on your Headphone

First, ensure that you have the Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa apps installed on your device, depending on the voice assistant you want to use. Go to your app store to download the intended voice assistant app, then add your headphones as a device in the app if necessary. Finally, enable the intended voice assistant in the settings of the My JBL Headphones app and assign which earbud you want to use to control it. The voice assistant app must be open for it to work correctly. It can be opened from within the My JBL Headphones app by tapping the name of the required voice assistant after you have selected it for use and assigned a gesture to one of your earbuds to control it.

TUNE-FLEX: Does the JBL Headphones app give me any indications when I choose different Ear Tips mode?

JBL Tune Flex is packed with two types of ear tips. These are called “Open Ear Tips” and “Sealing Ear Tips”.
When you click the Ear Tips mode, you will hear a tone to remind you of the different sound modes (Voice prompts not ready yet).

TUNE-FLEX: Does the number mean different levels of ANC Tuning?

Numbers 1-6 do NOT relate to ANC level, but you can find the optimal performance for your ears by selecting one of the bubbles.

TUNE-FLEX: How can I choose the best sound to fit my ear tips?

You can choose the “Ear Tip Sound Settings” feature in the JBL Headphones app or activate this feature by tapping three times + holding the left earbud.
