The JBL Bar 2.1 has a 6.5" subwoofer, whereas the Bar 3.1 has a 10" subwoofer. There are a couple of things that you will need to install your Harman Kardon Allure speaker. 1. Amazon account (US, UK or Germany are the only ones supported now). 2. An Android device (Android 6.x and up) or Apple device (iOS 9.3 and up). 3. A Wi-Fi network with UPnP enabled. 4. Our HK Alexa setup app from the App store. There are 5 sound modes: - Standard - Movie - Music - Voice - Sports Out the box, "Standard" sound mode is the default setting. The display on the soundbar's front panel will show which mode you are in (excluding the Bar Studio) Dotted LED lights on the side of the JBL Studio indicates when sound more your are in, the patterns are as follows: - Standard: One LED dot - Movie: Two LED dots - Music: Three LED dots - Voice: Four LED dots - Sports: Five LED dotsWas this helpful? It is possible to rename the Bluetooth name of the primary connected device and set the Party or Stereo mode. If a firmware upgrade is available for any Connect, Connect+, or Partyboost compatible speaker, this can be installed through the JBL Portable app. Only identical products can be set to stereo mode.
