It is not possible to clean the clear dome of the AURA. The dome cannot be removed without damaging the product. Yes, you can control the No. 585 over port 7701, providing the control is set for Ethernet in the menu. The commands are the same as RS232 and you connect to it by telnet on port 7701 of the IP Address of the unit.
