So when they teamed up to design on-ear headphones, audio performance was no accident. “As an artist, I want my fans to hear and experience music the way I do,” says McGraw. “So I’ve teamed up with JBL to bring you a line of headphones that have been tuned to do just that.” The JBL Tim McGraw Artist Series headphones are voiced to deliver the sonic signature that pros demand and have trusted JBL engineers to deliver for over 60 years. Their oversized, high-performance drivers reproduce every bass note and vocal moment effortlessly, and their semi-open design delivers a concert-hall size spatial image. Their velvet fabric ear cushions and headband enable hours of continuous, comfortable listening free from fatigue. The TMG81s, available in two distinctive styles, fold flat for easy transport, so you can take great JBL sound with you wherever you go.

The JBL Tim McGraw TMG81 headphones employ 1-5/8-inch (40-millimeter) drivers to generate an impressive frequency response (18Hz – 24kHz). You hear accurate sound across a wide dynamic range, anchored in exceptional deep, rich JBL bass.
The TMG81s deliver excellent spatial imaging thanks to their semi-open design. This acoustically tuned venting produces a naturally open, spacious sound.
The padded ear cushions and headband on the TMG81 model headphones are covered with soft fabric that breathes. They not only rest comfortably on your ears and head, but they also stay cool for hours of comfortable, fatigue-free listening.
The TMG81 headphones are available in two styles: white with gold accents and black with silver accents. Both styles feature Tim McGraw’s signature on the ear cups and “Tim McGraw” on the headband, while the black headphones incorporate a graphic design. Whichever option you choose, it’s an appealing blend of style and performance.
The ear-cups on the TMG81s fold flat when you’re not using them. This feature makes the headphones easy to transport and store.
For clean audio-signal transmission, the TMG81 headphones use a 99.99% oxygen-free cable. This single-sided cable connects to just one ear cup, giving you freedom of movement and reducing tangling.
You can enjoy the TMG81 headphones with your home audio components simply by using the included 1/4-inch (6.3-millimeter) adapter jack. The 1/8-inch (3.5-millimeter) main jack is threaded to ensure the optimal audio connection.
