  • Can I use Dual Sound and Social mode at the same time on my Aura Studio 2?
    No, When connected from multiple mobile devices ( up to 3 ) to one Harman Dual Sound enabled speaker, only the last one that connected will stay connected when enabling Harman Dual Sound. You can however connect from one mobile device to one of the 2 Harman Dual Sound enabled speakers, and activate Dual Sound afterwards. This will give you the option to interrupt the playback, in the same way as Social Mode works when connected to only one speaker.
  • Can I use both Windows and Apple computers to update my Everest headphones?
    The EVEREST models 100, 300 and 700 are all updated with the HID (Human Interface Device) tool, available in the download section for each model. This tool works with Windows computers only. The EVEREST ELITE models are updated with a USB tool available on the special Everest web page. This tool is available in both an Apple MAC OS version and a Windows version. This USB tool update is used for the first production run of ELITE models ONLY, and only once! All later production runs, and all updates after this first USB update, will take place wirelessly through the My JBL Headphone app, made for iOS and Android.
  • Can I use both Amazon Alexa and the Google Assistant with my JBL LIVE headphones?
    Yes, both voice assistants are supported by the JBL LIVE headphones.
    Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant must be selected as the default voice assistant through the My JBL Headphones app.
    The two voice assistants cannot be used simultaneously. You can always change your default voice assistant through the My JBL Headphones app.

    Yes, when out of range of your Wi-Fi network, you can use the Bluetooth or analog auxiliary connection. The OMNI 50+ has a built-in battery as well to take the speaker out of the house.
  • Can I use another power supply than the one which is in the box?
    The Adapt can be powered from any USB port providing 1 amp current, but Harman recommends using the supplied power adapter.
  • Can I use an Omni+ speaker and a 1st generation Omni speaker together in a stereo pair?
    No, stereo pairs must be two of the same type of speaker. For example, two Omni 10 or two Omni 10+ speakers will work, but not one Omni 10 and one Omni 10+.
  • Can I use Alexa with my Harman Kardon Allure speaker offline?
    No, the Allure speaker requires an internet connection in order to use Alexa voice commands. You can always listen to music via the Bluetooth connection if you are out of range with your Wi-Fi network
  • Can I use AKG N20 NC for telephone conversations?
    Yes, the remote control permits you to pick up and stop a call, and activate the voice assistant to place a call.
  • Can I use 2 JBL Boombox speakers in Stereo?
    Yes, from within the JBL Connect App, when you have 2 JBL Boombox speakers connected, set them in Stereo Mode. When you add a 3rd ( or more ) JBL Boombox speakers, they will automatically revert back to Party mode
  • Can I upgrade my AVR 370 through wireless network connection?
    No, upgrade can only be performed with a USB stick. There is no danger to the receiver if you try to upgrade through the wireless network, though.
  • Can I update the software on my Aura Studio 2?
    Yes, When an update is available, you will find this on the product website of the Harman Kardon Aura Studio 2, in Manuals and Downloads. You will need to connect your Harman Kardon Aura Studio 2 by USB, and run the software update from a compatible computer.
  • Can I turn the Heart Rate sensor off and still use the Under Armour Sport Wireless Heart Rate headphones for audio?
    You can turn the Heart Rate sensor off and still use the headphones for audio by placing your finger on the right earpiece for 3-4 seconds. You will hear an audio prompt stating, “Heart Rate disconnected” which will turn the Heart Rate sensor off. If you wish to turn the sensor back on, simply place your finger on the RIGHT earpiece again for 3-4 seconds until you hear the voice prompt stating that the Heart Rate sensor has been turned back on.
  • Can I turn PureVoice on or off?
    PureVoice is default ON when you turn on the soundbar. You may turn OFF PureVoice by using the LCD touch display. On the touchscreen, swipe to the Settings page, then tap Audio -> PureVoice to enable or disable PureVoice.

    Yes. Go into our HK Alexa Setup app, tap on the 3 line icon and click on "Lightning" to toggle it on and off.
  • Can I take phones calls with the E45BT headphones?
    Yes, the E45BT headphones allow you to switch seamlessly from your music on your portable device to your phone. The controls are located on the Right ear cup which features your volume control and pause and play which is located in the center of the controls. The center button will allow you to answer and hang up phone calls .

    Yes, the JBL Duet Mini features a three button microphone which enables you to pause/play, skip tracks and answer and hang up phone calls.

    Yes, the E25BT features a three button microphone which enables you to pause/play, skip tracks and answer and hang up phone calls.
  • Can I take phone calls when the Go + Play BT/Wireless is connected to more than one smartphone?
    No, you can only take phone calls when your Go + Play BT/Wireless is connected to a single smartphone. The speaker is designed in this way to protect privacy when it doesn't know which phone is being called. However, some Android phones (e.g. Google Nexus 5) will still transfer the phone call to speaker even when Go + Play BT/Wireless is connected with multiple smartphones. This is caused by the configuration of the phone.
  • Can I take calls from the Onyx Studio 4?
    Yes, you can take can incoming call from the Onyx 4 by pressing the call button located between the power button and volume + button.
  • Can I switch the display completely off on Pulse 2?
    Yes, although this is not mentioned in the owner's manual, it can be done by pressing and holding the light effect button for more than two seconds.
  • Can I swim with these headphones?
    No. These headphones are not waterproof. Swimming with these headphones will cause significant and irreversible damage.
  • Can I stream my CD music to a Harman Kardon Wireless HD Audio System?
    Yes. Just connect the analog output from your CD player to the Audio In jack on the back of your Adapt.
  • Can I stream Google Chromecast via my PC to Control Xstream?
    Yes, Control Xstream is a Chromecast device that allows you to cast music content via your Chrome browser. However, the JBL Control Xstream is not made for video purposes, because there will be delay between sound and image.
  • Can I still use my E45BT even if the battery is dead?
    Yes, the E45BT headphones also have an detachable audio cable that you can plug into the headphones. The plug is located at the bottom of the right ear cup.
  • Can I share TV sound through JBL Connect using SB450?
    You can only share the sound via JBL Connect through Bluetooth connected devices. TV sound is not permitted as it would cause lip-sync issues.
  • Can I setup WiFi on my BDS 280S or 580S with my iPhone?
    Yes it is possible. Connect any iOS device (iPhone, iPod touch or iPad) to the front panel USB port of the BDS. Make sure Wi-Fi is enabled on your iOS device and that it is currently connected to your wireless home network. NOTE: iOS version 5 or higher is required for iOS Wi-Fi sharing. 1: Select Configure Wi-Fi by iOS from the Setup Wi-Fi list. A pop-up will be displayed on your iOS device. 2: Select Allow to confirm that you want to share your Wi-Fi settings. 3: The connection should now be established automatically. Check the status on your TV for confirmation"
  • Can I set up a custom WiFi to my BDS system?
    Yes, and it is very simple. Choose the custom setup option if you want to manually connect the BDS system to Wi-Fi. To connect the BDS system to a specific Wi-Fi network, you need to enter the Wi-Fi network name and password in the network settings. Confirm the SSID name. Your BDS should now be connected to the WiFi.
  • Can I see my voice interaction history somewhere on my Harman Kardon Allure?
    Yes, you can see all voice interactions with the Harman Kardon Allure by using the Alexa app and visiting History in Settings. Your interactions are grouped by question or request. Tap an entry to see more detail, provide feedback, or listen to audio sent to the Cloud for that entry by tapping the play icon. Sometimes Alexa may not understand you perfectly, and the translations you see in History may not always reflect exactly what you said (for example, they may be inaccurate or incomplete). You can help us improve your experience by providing feedback on inaccurate translations in History.
