HDCP (High Definition Copy Protection) 2.2 will become mandatory for 4K/UHD content only. First source should be the 4K BD player announced at IFA for spring 2016 from Samsung. In case of HDCP 2.2, the whole chain needs to be compatible to work from source to AVR to TV. If one of the devices in the chain is not HDCP 2.2-compliant, the player will downscale the content to 1080p. No black screen. This is the theory, anyway. HDCP 2.2 is copy-protection, so it does not decode the signal, but is concerned with preserving the content from being copied and distributed on the internet. The problem of HDCP 2.2 is that it is hardware-based, and not software-based, so there is nothing we can do on our existing models, like any other AVR manufacturer or TV. Please note that self-produced 4K material is no problem, since self-produced material has no digital HDCP copy protection. Only streamed material and UHD-Blu-ray will not work, since the HDCP protection will stop the signal in the receiver.Was this helpful? Thank you for your feedback!

To activate the voice assistance, press and hold the center button on the RIGHT ear for 2 seconds until you hear your music stop. You will be able to speak to VA through your headphones and it should comply with your command.

Talk Thru technology allows you to clearly hear others for quick conversations without removing your UA Train headphones. To activate TalkThru mode, press the UA logo on the RIGHT ear for 1 second. You will hear your music level lower when TalkThru Technology is engaged. To revert back to normal volume, simply press the UA logo again. Yes, The UA Train ear cushions can be removed and washed. To remove the ear cushions, peel cushion away from ear cup center. Hand wash the ear cushions only with liquid soap for 5 minutes. Swish in soapy water, then swish through clean water until there are no more soap suds. Wait for ear cushions to fully dry, and gently stretch the cushion, inserting the cushion ring into the ear cup slot, and working your way around.
