The L820 bookshelf/wall-mount speaker is video shielded and features a PolyPlas; woofer and midrange and a pure-titanium tweeter to deliver accurate performance with dramatically reduced distortion for incredibly realistic sound. The 6 inch woofer delivers excellent bass impact and excitement and the ultrahigh-frequency driver extends response out to 40kHz. Perfect for SACD or DVD-Audio recordings. The tweeter is mounted in our proprietary Elliptical Oblate Spheroidal (EOS;) waveguide for improved high-frequency dispersion anywhere in the listening room. The slim and wall-mountable 5 inch deep enclosure complements the latest flat panel televisions and also makes the L820 the perfect surround channel solution.

JBL® HeatScape™ delivers great power handling

The HeatScape™ motor structure envelops the voice coil with a large ceramic magnet and steel frame that protects the voice coil by dissipating heat. This increases power handling and gives you extremely low levels of harmonic distortion.

Detailed high frequency sound reproduction

A thin, but rigid, 1” pure titanium-laminate dome tweeter delivers accurate high frequency response, even when the volume is cranked up. A Mylar® dome makes way for open, smooth spacious sound, and a seamless transition between the middle and high frequencies.
