  • Using HDMI, Optical and Coaxial digital inputs
    The TV input is a single audio input with different options for connectors. If an HDMI cable is connected, then it will always be prioritized. Optical and coaxial digital will be prioritized by first signal present (Be aware, that some optical outputs will register as signal always)
    It is not possible to change between the digital inputs for TV source via the remote control. 
  • Using InfinityLAB Charger outdoor or in wet environment
    The InfinityLAB charger is not designed for wet environment.
    It is not waterproof, if it gets wet, there's a chance for short-circuit, which can cause damage to other electronics that you plug into them.
    Ensure that you keep your charger always dry.
  • Using InfinityLab Power bank as a carry-on item during flights
    Normally, batteries under 100Wh (Watt-hour) can be carried on the plane during flights.
    InfinityLab 5.000 power bank is 18.65Wh (Watt-hour), and the 10.000 power bank is 38.5Wh (Watt-hour), which should be allowed as a carry-on item.

    We advise you to consult the flight company if you are in doubt before using it as a carry-on item.
     
  • Using InfinityLab power bank under cold environments
    The InfinityLab power bank will have lower charging efficiency under cold or freezing environments (below 5 degrees Celcius). Therefore, you will feel it’s charging slowly.

    However, when you return to normal temperature (below 35 degrees Celsius), the InfinityLab power bank’s charging efficiency will be back to normal.
  • Using my receiver, the picture on my TV is slightly out of sync with the audio. What's wrong?
    This receiver has a feature called "A/V Sync Delay" that allows you to manually set dissimilar video and audio synchronization that may occur with certain types of Plasma and HDTV's. The instruction for this setting can be found in your owner's manual in the section "Delay Adjustments" or "Delay Settings".
  • Using other exchangeable plugs for your InfinityLAB charger
    No, you should only use the InfinityLAB US, UK and EU swappable plugs included in the packaging box.
  • Using other USB Cables with our InfinityLab devices
    Yes, you can charge your devices with common USB-A and USB-C cables.
  • Using Quantum DUO with our QuantumENGINE software
    Unfortunately, our JBL Quantum DUO speakers are not supported by our QuantumENGINE PC software.
    All configuration is done on the speakers itself, and there is no need or required software to change the RGB lights.
  • Using speakers with 4 ohm impedance
    The Citation Amp can work with 4 ohm speakers and is rated at 200-watts per channel. Do not connect speakers less than 4 ohm!
  • Using the Quantum headset while charging

    JBL is committed to providing the most optimal consumer experience through superior immersive audio. Our Quantum 800/600 headsets are designed to be connected via 2.4Ghz, BT ( 800 only ) or 3.5mm jack. USB-C port is only designed for charging the internal 14hr battery and does not provide an audio connection. This is an intentional design decision.
     

  • Using the Trigger out 12V connection
    You can use a 3.5 mini-jack cable to connect the Citation Amp (TRIGGER OUT 12V) with your subwoofer or other equipment to have them power on when the Citation Amp wakes from standby.
    When the Citation Amp is ON, there will be output 12V DC signal, and when the Citation Amp is OFF  mode, there is no output (0V DC).
  • Using the USB Connection
    The USB port is only for charging the JBL Quantum 350 Wireless.
    Connect the dongle to use the 2.4GHz wireless connection.
  • Using Voice assistant on your Mark Levinson No. 5909 Headphone
    To use your source device’s voice assistant (Smartphone, tablet, etc.), HOLD the No 5909 multi-function button (right ear-cup).
     
  • Voice Assistant Headphone Connection
    If you are having trouble pairing your headphones or if your device is asking for a PIN, please make sure to check all available BT connections in your device's settings. Verify that you are connecting to the headphone's product name that excludes 'LE'. The 'LE' connection is only intended for voice assistant feature compatible with your headphones. If the voice assistant feature has not yet been configured, this would explain why the 'LE' connection appears as an available connection, but cannot be used for Bluetooth audio.

  • Voice Assist Information
    To activate the voice assistance, press and hold the center button on the RIGHT ear for 2 seconds until you hear your music stop. You will be able to speak to VA through your headphones and it should comply with your command.
     
  • Voice commands that I registered are not triggering Smartbase.
    • Voice commands only work when receiving a call. • Excessive background noise such as wind or music, could be impacting unit’s effectiveness. Close windows and or reduce the volume of your music and try again.
  • Voice control
    Even though the Google Assistant is not built-in, Harman Kardon Radiance 2400 is compatible with a voice-assistant speaker, like the Harman Kardon Citation Series.

    "You can attached these spikes to your Arena 170 & Arena 180 at the bottom of the speaker. Use them for stability if you are placing your Arena 180/170 speakers on a thick rug or plush carpeting. The carpet spikes can be manually screwed into each foot on the base of the speaker."
  • What are the components of the JBL CLUB series incredible sound?
    Besides Legendary JBL Pro Sound and hi-res audio support available in the whole series; however, the JBL CLUB ONE headphone is equipped with 40mm Graphene orange drivers. Compensating the loss between the original signal and what you hear, the driver provides a fuller, more organic sound experience. On all models, you can adjust the audio reproduction to your preferences with the equalizer in the My JBL Headphones app.
     
  • What are the details for HDCP 2.2?
    HDCP (High Definition Copy Protection) 2.2 will become mandatory for 4K/UHD content only. First source should be the 4K BD player announced at IFA for spring 2016 from Samsung. In case of HDCP 2.2, the whole chain needs to be compatible to work from source to AVR to TV. If one of the devices in the chain is not HDCP 2.2-compliant, the player will downscale the content to 1080p. No black screen. This is the theory, anyway. HDCP 2.2 is copy-protection, so it does not decode the signal, but is concerned with preserving the content from being copied and distributed on the internet. The problem of HDCP 2.2 is that it is hardware-based, and not software-based, so there is nothing we can do on our existing models, like any other AVR manufacturer or TV. Please note that self-produced 4K material is no problem, since self-produced material has no digital HDCP copy protection. Only streamed material and UHD-Blu-ray will not work, since the HDCP protection will stop the signal in the receiver.

  • What are the differences between x35 models and x85S models?
    BDS 335/635 are our low cost models, still offering the thrills of a media center with Blu Ray disc player built-in. These systems have passive subwoofers, and the subwoofer amplifier is built in to the BDS unit. The x85S models offer more features, such as Spotify Connect support, and the use of active subwoofers. All depends on your needs and what your personal preferences will be.
  • What are the holes at each end of the Boost used for?
    These are the bass ports. Please do not place the Boost TV with its ends too close to obstacles, since that will reduce bass output. Allow at least 5-10cm free space at each end.
  • What are the improvements from the previous generation of Citation Bar?
    Compared to the Citation Bar, the Citation Multibeam 1100 adds Dolby Atmos with up-firing drivers, Multibeam surround sound, Sound Calibration and PureVoice dialogue enhancement. 
     
  • What are the key differences between the Bar 2.1 and 3.1?
    The JBL Bar 2.1 has a 6.5" subwoofer, whereas the Bar 3.1 has a 10" subwoofer. The Bar 3.1 has two additional HDMI inputs, support 4K, and has a dedicated tweeter and two woofers to function as the center channel. These added features makes the JBL Bar 3.1 more efficient at producing bass, connecting multiple sources, playing Ultra HD content, and listening to voice/vocals.
  • What are the leather-like patches in the HKTS 335 or 635 meant for?
    They are meant as protective pads for the satellite speakers to stand on, preventing damage and scratches.
  • What are the requirements for using Harman Kardon Allure speaker?
    There are a couple of things that you will need to install your Harman Kardon Allure speaker. 1. Amazon account (US, UK or Germany are the only ones supported now). 2. An Android device (Android 6.x and up) or Apple device (iOS 9.3 and up). 3. A Wi-Fi network with UPnP enabled. 4. Our HK Alexa setup app from the App store. If you have met all the criteria for installing your new Harman Kardon Allure speaker, then you are ready to enjoy a voice-activated speaker and great music!
  • What are the sound modes on the JBL Bar Studio, Bar 2.1, Bar 3.1, and Bar 5.1?
    There are 5 sound modes: - Standard - Movie - Music - Voice - Sports Out the box, "Standard" sound mode is the default setting. The display on the soundbar's front panel will show which mode you are in (excluding the Bar Studio) Dotted LED lights on the side of the JBL Studio indicates when sound more your are in, the patterns are as follows: - Standard: One LED dot - Movie: Two LED dots - Music: Three LED dots - Voice: Four LED dots - Sports: Five LED dots
  • What are the two openings at the back of the Soundgear used for?
    These are bass tuning canals, used to provide full sound.
  • What are the two signal cables that are in the SOHO II NC box meant for? One has silver-colored plug, the other one has black-colored plug.
    The silver cable is intended for use with Apple sources. The black cable is intended for use with Android/universal sources.
  • What audio codec does the JBL Dive Support?
    The Endurance Dive supports SBC. But the main signal transfer is A2DP, v1.3.
  • What audio codecs are supported for LINK 10, 20, 300 and 500?
    Codecs such as MP3, AAC-LC, HE+ACC, FLAC, Vorbis, Wav, CELT/opus are supported via Wi-Fi streaming. For Bluetooth, codecs such as SBC and AAC are supported.
  • What can I do with the Amazon Alexa app for my Harman Kardon Allure/portable speaker?

  • What can I do with the Connect app?
    It is possible to rename the Bluetooth name of the primary connected device and set the Party or Stereo mode. If a firmware upgrade is available for any Connect, Connect+, or Partyboost compatible speaker, this can be installed through the JBL Portable app. Only identical products can be set to stereo mode. Please note that, even though you can pair a Boost TV with JBL Connect, you cannot control this from the JBL Connect App
  • What can you do with JBL QuantumENGINE software?
    You can adjust equalizer, RGB LED effects, change microphone settings and update the headset's firmware.
  • What CEC commands do the SB450 support?
    It supports 3 CEC commands; System Standby, OneTouch Play and Audio Return Channel.
  • What Dac Chip is used in the Mark Levinson No. 526?
    The ML No. 526 uses the ESS SABRE ES9018K2M chip.
  • What Devices are Compatible with my UA Sport Wireless Headphones?
    Any device that has Bluetooth capabilities and supports A2DP stereo audio streaming will be compatible with the Under Armour Sport Wireless headphones
  • What devices are compatible with the N20LT headphones?
    Because the headphone features a lightning connector, it is compatible with IOS devices only.
  • What does "HVS" mean? I can see it as an option for surround modes.
    HVS is short for Harman Virtual Surround. This signal processing system can simulate surround effect from a stereo source.
  • What does ANC on/off mean? NXTGeneration Active Noise Cancelling?
    NXTGeneration (Next Generation) active noise cancelling gives consumers a new level of control over their listening experience. Harman’s noise cancelling technology actively reduces noise so it doesn’t interfere with your listening experience. However, we recognize that in certain environments, you need to have greater awareness of your surroundings and don’t want to be fully isolated from important sounds– whether it is on a city street, in the office or while commuting. Harman’s adjustable ambient aware technology gives the user the ability to bring in the sounds around them and fully adjust the balance between how loud the outside sounds are
  • What does HARMAN volume do?
    With HARMAN Volume you can set your desired volume between low, medium and high. You can listen to your audio without sudden distracting changes such as blasts from ads, and volume variations as you switch between channels on your TV. Other benefits include full sound effects even at low volumes, this means if you are watching movies (DVD, BlueRay disc) and HARMAN volume is set to low volume, then the signal is more compressed, than what the other volume levels is. This will allow you to hear natural, consistent sound at low volume level, and not only hearing voice conversation from movies, giving you the same movie experience just with lower volume. What is best for you is a matter of personal preference, so we recommend playing around with the three different levels.
  • What does IPX7 mean?
    Rating IPX7 means that the device can be submerged in 1m of water for up to 30 minutes without permanent damage, but it has not been tested against the entry of dust.
  • What does splashproof mean?
    Water splashing against the speaker from any direction should have no harmful effect on the unit.
  • What does tangle-free cable mean?
    The woven part of the cable is tangle-free, meaning that in daily use, you can put the headphone in your pocket, without having to untangle a cable knot afterwards. Note that the left and right section is smooth, not tangle-free. This is because woven cord would tend to make noise when rubbing against clothes.
  • What does the + indicate?
    The product + indicates splashproof.
  • What does the Audio Feedback button do?
    Audio feedback turns on tones that let you know that something is happening on the product. When Audio feedback is ON, you will hear tones for:
    • Bluetooth Pairing.
    • SoundShift on/off.
    • JBL Connect Pairing Mode (Boost TV only)
  • What does the Audio Sync function do?
    Sometimes, when the soundbar is connected to a digital TV, the audio may not synchronize with the video. If the video is behind the audio, adjust the audio delay time to match the video.
    You can set the audio delay time between 0 msec and 250 msec.
    Note: The audio delay time you specify may not be exact, depending on the played content.
    The audio sync function will not resolve instances where the video is ahead of the audio.
