  • Why is there no USB-C charging cable included with my product?

    To minimize e-waste, we consciously choose not to include a charging cable in our packaging.

    You can use any standard USB-C cable to charge your JBL product as well as a power adapter compliant with the USB-C standard.

    Past product already have standardized USB-C cables, which can be reused for new products.

  • Why is there no USB-C PD Adaptor included with my speaker?

    To minimize e-waster, we consciously choose not to include a USB-C PD Adaptor in our speaker packaging.

    You can purchase the dedicated 15-60W JBL USB-C PD adaptor on jbl.com or any other retail stores. Simply connect the USB-C PD Adaptor with your speaker and enjoy the guaranteed performance JBL promised.

  • Why is the sound from the ELITE models different with NC activated?
    In the ANC on mode, we take advantage of advanced signal processing to finely tune, and personalize the audio performance. In passive and in ANC off mode, that signal processing is not running, so you may hear a difference in audio performance
  • Will Control Xstream switch off when they are not used (standby)
    This speaker will go to standby mode after 10 minutes inactivity. It turn on when you start playing to it again.
  • Will Harman Display Surround always be on?
    Only if you have pressed the button on the remote or Boost TV itself.
  • Will it work with a wireless microphone?
    No - it is not designed to work with a wireless microphone.
  • Will JBL QuantumENGINE upscale 7.1 channel content?
    It will not upmix 7.1 as powered by the proprietary algorithm for the advanced surround sound. JBL uses binaural synthesis to use 1 virtual source per channel which leads to better precision.
  • Will my 1st generation OMNI speaker work with 2nd generation OMNI+ speakers?
    Yes, they will work together. You can link rooms containing 1st generation Omni speakers with rooms containing 2nd generation Omni speakers and listen to the same music across all of them. Since the 2nd generation has a more powerful processor, we recommend connecting external sources like AUX or Bluetooth to the 2nd generation speakers rather than the 1st generation.
  • Will my music be interrupted if I want to use my phone for other purposes while casting?
    Yes, when casting music to your JBL Playlist, your speaker is connected to Google Cloud, which will turn your smart device into a remote control, rather than streaming music directly to the Playlist. You can easily do other things with your phone while using Chromecast, such as gaming, texting, make calls, watch Youtube etc. This will not interrupt the music that you are casting.
  • Will my soundbar enter standby-mode automatically?
    Yes, after 10 minutes of no audio activity, the soundbar will enter standby-mode automatically. Or you can do it yourself by short pressing the Power button.
  • Will OMNI work with my existing equipment?
    Yes. Just connect an Adapt to your existing Hi-Fi equipment or active speaker via the 3.5mm line out port to transform any speaker into a wireless speaker in the Harman Kardon Wireless HD Audio System
  • Will party mode transform stereo pairs into mono singles?
    No, the re-broadcast signal is in stereo. Stand alone speakers will play both Left and Right channels.
