Because bluetooth cannot travel through water, the only Endurance model that is used for swimming is the Endurance DIVE model. The Endurance DIVE model features an MP3 player which allows you to listen to music under water without using bluetooth. Furthermore, only DIVE features a function lock, which prevents water from activating functions inadvertently. Yes, you can use cabled audio connection instead of Bluetooth on the N60NC Wireless, if you prefer. You can listen to a cabled source even if the battery is empty, but the noise cancelling function will of course not be available in this case. If the battery is charged, you can switch noise cancellation on or off at will. You do not have to have a cable connected at all. Yes, but only with certain Android telephones. It is not possible to use iPhones. It is necessary to buy a USB 2.0 cable with Micro-B male plug to Micro-B male plug, OTG functionality. (On-The-Go). This cable is available in different lengths from various electronics shops or web shops. Connecting the telephone and the N90Q with this cable will usually open for digital signal transmission immediately, and the amber charging button on the N90Q will light up as an indication of open connection. It is safest is to turn amplifier off, change the switch position, then turn the unit back on. The switches should not be changed if the unit is ON (operate mode), they can be changed if the unit is in standby but only if the standby mode is Green or Power Save.Was this helpful? Since this headphone has Lightning connector, it cannot be used with any Apple product that does not have this connector. Also, it is necessary to use the My JBL Headphone app to play through the headphone, and to be able to control it. This means that only sources that permit the use of apps can be used. This will exclude use of iPod Nano. And of course iPod Shuffle cannot be used, since it has no Lightning connector.
