  • It is not possible to turn the Google Assistant feature off on the headphones, but if you turn off GA on your phone, the headphones won't trigger. On the Everest GA models, the Google Assistant feature is in fact than an extension of your phone, so once you connect to your phone via BT, when you touch the right ear pod, it commands your phone to open the "Hey Google" command.
The only way to stop that from happening is to change the Google settings on your phone to deactivate Google Voice Match, or deactivate Google Assistant entirely.

  • Press and hold the center power button that is located on the inline microphone. You will see the flashing LED blue light turn off on top of the volume increase button on the microphone.
  • To power on the device, place one of the headphones inside your ear and press and hold the center button on the inline mic. You should hear the audible voice stating, “powering on” and a blue blinking light should appear at the top of the inline mic. If this is your first time connecting to a device, it should immediately go into pairing mode. The device should recognize the UA WIRELESS headphone. Once you select that option, the audible voice should state, “connected”.
  • To activate Bluetooth pairing mode, please follow these steps:
    • Press the Bluetooth button on the bottom of the right headphone.
Now find the Headphone in your Bluetooth device settings and select it to connect.
    1. First pair your phone to the Boost TV. You can test this by streaming music to the product.
    2. Then press the TV button to switch to the TV sound. Press the TV button again so the LED light is blue--Blue LED means that SoundShift is ON.
    3. When you press PLAY on your phone, then you will hear your Bluetooth audio break in over the TV sound. This confirms that SoundShift is working.
    4. Simply press SoundShift button again, this will now turn OFF the SoundShift. Now you can watch TV without any interruption from Bluetooth devices.
  • Your headphones arrive in ANC OFF mode. To switch between modes, press the red ANC button on the left ear cup, this will cycle between OFF / ANC / AWARENESS. Via the app, you can select the default ANC of HIGH, ADAPTIVE or LOW and the default AWARENESS level of VOICEPASS or AMBIENT.
  • You can go to the Control Panel> Programs and features to uninstall JBL QuantumENGINE.
  • You will need to navigate to the System section, and if the software button is highlighted with "Download Software", please click on the button. When the download is completed, you can click "install update" to install latest version. Make sure you restart your computer once the upgrade is finished to ensure all changes are applied.
