  • Enabling or disabling Demo mode.

    Demo mode

    1. Press the Play and Boost button at the same time for 5 seconds.
    2. Depending on what state your JBL Partybox is in, either you enter Demo mode or disabling it.
      1. NOTE: In Demo mode, you cannot use the JBL Partybox as most features and buttons are not working.

  • Enabling Alexa to control my SmartThings device

    The SmartThings app works with Alexa and can be used to control compatible products such as light bulbs, on/off switches, dimmer switches, thermostats, locks, and Scenes configured with the SmartThings app. To use your speaker to control these smart devices, follow these steps:

    1. Go to the speaker's page in the SmartThings app.
    2. Select Menu (3 dots on the top right corner).
    3. Select "Settings".
    4. Select "SmartThings with Alexa".
    5. Tap "Allow" to let Alexa to access all your compatible home devices.
    6. Select "Link".
    7. Tap "Done".
  • Ear Pad Cleaning Information
    The ear pads can be removed and washed.
    To remove the ear pads, rotate them anti-clockwise to unlock (see image below).

    The ear pads must be hand washed only, do not machine wash - the water temperature used should be in the range specified below. Then wait for the ear pads to fully dry.

    Once fully dry, align the holes on the inside of the ear pads (highlighted with orange circles in the image below) with the clips on the headphones (located where the red arrows are pointing in the image below), now rotate the ear pad clockwise to lock the ear pads to the headphones again.

  • E55BT Headphones: Track Information
    To skip the tracks forward, you press and hold the volume up button for 3 seconds. To skip tracks backward, press and hold the volume down button for 3 seconds.
  • During Wireless Dual Sound mode, why is there an interruption when music starts playing via Bluetooth?
    It's normal that music will be interrupted for one or two seconds when entering Wireless Dual Sound mode. The two compatible speakers are synchronizing with each other during this connection process. Once they are in sync you will not experience any further interruption.
  • Dual Wireless Sound Information
    The Onyx Studio 7 features Dual Wireless Sound which allows you to connect two Onyx Studio 7 speakers together for a more powerful listening experience. Please note: You cannot connect the Onyx Studio 7 to other Onyx Studio speakers such as the Onyx Studio 6 and 5. 
  • DSP 4086 Tuning Software Crashing/Not Responding

    If your DSP Tuning Software is not responding properly or is crashing, it is likely because the proper USB driver has not yet been installed.  There is an easy fix for this, and it does not require you to uninstall anything.

     
    1. If the tuning software is open, close it.
    2. Go back to your software install files and double-click on “USB Driver”.

    NOTE: Make sure to allow it to make changes to your computer if your anti-virus software requests it.

    1. After the driver is installed, reopen the software.  Your problem should be resolved.
  • Do you need a phone to use Vi?
    Yes, a phone with GPS capabilities is needed so that the Vi Fitness app can start and stop workouts, track biometrics, measure and store data, track features like elevation and location, and play music during training. We support iOS (9+) and Android OS (Lollipop +) devices however we recommend having the latest OS on any device for the best Vi experience.
  • Do you have to be connected bluetooth for the calling features to work?
    Yes. Pair your device with the speaker via bluetooth.
  • Do you have replacement cables available for my Everest headphones?
    Cables and other spare parts for EVEREST can be obtained from either the distributors or from authorized service centers. Please contact Harman Customer Support to get the necessary contact details.

  • Do you have a guide that explains the best placement for the OMNI+ speakers in a house?
    Every home is different, so it is difficult to provide a universal guide that suits it all. What you can do is check the number of available access points in your home by performing a Wi-Fi network scan using a mobile device. Then select the Wi-Fi channel that isn't as busy as the rest. Also, check how much noise each speaker has using the Harman Kardon Controller app. Simply go into the settings menu and select "Send us feedback" to see the results, signals between -40 dB and -62 dB are considered good.
  • Do the UA Train headphones support AptX low latency?
    No. UA Train does not support AptX™ and AptX HD™ audio codecs.
  • Do these headphones have volume control?
    Yes, the Reflect Aware features a three button inline microphone that allows you to control the volume.
  • Do the normal BT models have voice prompt, or can it be changed?
    Yes , all 5 models have voice prompts. The Elite models have the added option of turning off the voice prompts in the settings menu of the app. The Everest 300 and 700, as well as the successors 310 and 710, have the option of choosing between voice prompts and tone prompts. This is how you do it: Switch the headphones ON. Press and hold the Shareme and the Volume Plus buttons for about two seconds. Switch the headphones OFF. You will now hear the OFF prompt having changed to the prompt you did not use before, and you will hear this one until you change it again.
  • Do the Flip 4 and Charge 3 float in water?
    No, the IP waterproof specification means that these speakers can be immersed in water 1 m deep for 30 minutes. It does not mean that they can float, so please be careful. If dropped, they will sink to the bottom.
  • Do the Everest Series headphones support AAC or aptX?
    Sorry, neither AAC nor aptX are supported.
  • Do the Everest headphones need to be fully charged before attempting the update?
    It is not a bad idea to have the headphone charged before updating, but only if it is completely empty will there be any difference. To update via cable, a USB cable connection must be established between the headphone and the computer, and since the cable is also used for charging, there will be power to the headphone as long as it is connected to the computer. If the battery is depleted, it may be necessary to wait a little while, until a basic level of charging has been reached. Please note that the ELITE models with the most recent software permit wireless upgrade, directly from the control app on a smartphone. In this case, it is of course necessary to have power enough in the battery to sustain the whole upgrading process, since it takes place without cable.
  • Do the Everest headphones have to be powered on before you connect them to the computer?
    No, the tool will tell you to switch them ON when necessary.
  • Do the Everest and Everest Elite headphones support AAC or aptX?
    Sorry, neither AAC nor aptX are supported.
  • Do not use the Integrated cable to charge your InfinityLab Power bank
    The integrated cable only serves as output to charge your devices.  Please use the input port to recharge your power bank.
  • Do JBL Club Headphones Support aptX?
    JBL Club headphones do not support aptX. There are a number of different platforms available and our choice was driven by the one that provides the combination of best sound quality and user experience. The platform that we have selected perfectly fits the requirements of the JBL Club series including voice integration and audio customization whilst supplying the Hi Res-certified headphones with the quality of audio they deserve.
  • Do I need to link my Google account to my JBL LINK 10, 20, 300 or 500?
    JBL LINK speakers require a Google account to operate. Your search history on the JBL LINK speaker will appear in your Google account's search history. Also, if you give the JBL LINK speaker permission, it may access your data saved in other Google services, like Calendar and Gmail to answer questions you ask.
  • Do I need to enable Spotify connect on my AVR device?
    No, simply turn on your AVR device and make sure it is connected to your network and the mobile device is on the same network. Open your Spotify app and select the Spotify Connect logo, and your AVR device should be visible. Select the AVR device and play Spotify music through your system.
  • Do I need to close the USB cap for the speaker to be waterproof?
    Yes, it is needed to close the USB cap completely for waterproof.
  • Do I need to charge from a certain kind of charger, or can I use all USB sockets?
    Each headphone is shipped with a micro USB charging cable. USB is the only way to charge the headphones, and all normal USB chargers may be used.
  • Do I need to calibrate the head tracker sensor?
    The head tracker in the Quantum ONE uses your movements to calibrate the sensors. You can speed up the calibration process by doing the following: * Imagine that the headphone is a standard cube with 6 faces (Front, Back, Left, Right, Top, Bottom) * Orient the headphone so that it is sitting on each face of "the cube" sequentially. For example, start with the headphone positioned normally (bottom face of the cube down). Then rotate it so that the right side of the cube is facing down. Then continue through the rest of the faces of the cube. * Hold the headphone in each position for 1 second * Once all the faces of the device have been rotated, set the headphone down on a stationary surface for 2 or 3 seconds.
  • Do I need the App to update the software in the Everest Elite headphones
    For headphones with Version 4.0 of the Firmware, the first update will be done via USB cable, and after the first update, all subsequent updates will be delivered over the air. For headsets with version 5.0 of the firmware, all updates will be delivered over the air, via the app
  • Do I have to bring the charging dock when I use the ALLURE PORTABLE as a portable?
    No, the ALLURE PORTABLE has a Micro USB charging port on it, so you can charge it without the docking station using any USB charger with a charge rating of 2.3 amps or higher. A charger with a slightly lower rating, below 2.3 amps, will also work, but the charging time will increase.
  • Do I have the option to control the volume from the detachable inline remote cable?
    Unfortunately, there is no volume control on the inline microphone. You have the options to answer phone calls, skip tracks and pause and play.
  • Does Trunote work only when ANC is ON?
    Yes, ANC needs to be ON.
  • Does Trip have to be plugged into power to work?
    No. This product has a rechargeable battery.
  • Does this speaker have a voice assistant?

    This speaker supports both Samsung Bixby and Amazon Alexa voice assistant. You have the ability to setup both voice assistants and run both of them concurrently.


  • Does this speaker have an Aux Input?
    This speaker does not have an Aux Input, so no analog connection is possible.
  • Does this model have detachable cable?
    Yes, the cable is detachable.
  • Does this headphone support JBL QuantumSURROUND?
    The JBL Quantum 100 is not equipped with JBL QuantumSURROUND. You can consider to purchase the JBL Quantum 300, which comes with a USB dongle and access to JBL QuantumENGINE. 
  • Does this headphone support JBL QuantumSURROUND?

    The JBL Quantum 200 is not equipped with JBL QuantumSURROUND. You can consider to purchase the Quantum 300, which comes with a USB dongle and access to JBL QuantumENGINE. 

  • Does this headphone have a microphone?
    The Inspire 100 series does not feature a microphone.
  • Does this headphone feature volume control?
    Yes, this headphone features a three button microphone that features volume control, track control, and can receive phone calls.
  • Does this headphone feature the automatic shut off?
    No, the Reflect Mini BT does not feature the automatic shut off.
  • Does this feature a microphone?
    Yes, this headphone features a one button microphone that gives you the ability to pause/play, skip tracks, and answer/hang up phone calls.
  • Does the Y50BT have volume control?
    Yes, the Y50BT volume controls are located on the bottom of the right ear cup. You also have the power/pause/play and track controls located on the bottom right ear cup of the headphones.
  • Does the Xtreme has the same sound with and without AC power connected?
    If you are playing on battery only, you may experience slightly lower bass level and dynamics near maximum volume. If you are AC connected and playing via your Xtreme speaker, you will hear an increase in bass performance. The reason that bass performance is lowered when playing on battery is to reduce power consumption for you to have longer playing time from your Xtreme speaker.
  • Does the Wi-Fi indicator on the front of JBL Playlist, has to be at full signal to work?
    If the Wi-Fi indicator has all 3 LED lights on, then the signal to the speaker is extremely good, and if only 2 LED light up, then the signal will be good. If you only have 1 LED light or No LED light we suggest moving the speaker to a different location for a better Wi-Fi signal and better audio experience.
  • Does the US Train feature an audio cable?
    Yes. The UA Train features a detachable audio cable with a one button remote. (Please note: you cannot use bluetooth or TalkThru when using the cable connection.)
  • Does the UA Sport Wireless Flex feature volume control?
    Yes. You have the ability to control the volume which is located on the RIGHT arm of the neckband.
  • Does the Tune600BTNC feature an audio cable?
    Yes. The 600BTNC features an audio cable that you can use if you do not wish to use the headphones via wirelessly.
  • Does the T205 have volume control?
    No. Because it features a one button universal microphone, it does not give you the ability to control the volume.
  • Does the T205 have a microphone?
    Yes, the T205 features a one button universal microphone that gives you the ability to pause/play, answer/hang up calls, and skip tracks.
  • Does the T110BT have volume control?
    Yes, the T110BT features a three button inline microphone which allows you to pause/play skip tracks, answer calls and control the volume.
  • Does the Soundgear support aptX?
    Yes, Soundgear supports aptX LL (Low Latency). (aptX is a way of packing more information into a compressed version of a signal).
  • Does the soundbar upscale my video to 4K resolution?
    The soundbar passes through content from a 4K video source but does not upscale video to 4K.
  • Does the size of my head or height impact the performance of JBL QuantumSURROUND?
    How does the brain tell where a sound is coming from? The slight difference in the arrival time of a sound between two ears helps you understand the angle of the sound source from the head. Everyone hears a little differently based on their individual anatomy. This is why it’s important for the QuantumENGINE to know your height and head size—it adjusts to provide the most precise experience possible.
  • Does the SB20 soundbar have on-screen display (OSD) to check volume etc?
    No, the HDMI connection is used for audio return channel only, there is no on-screen display function to show settings on the TV screen.
  • Does the Reflect Fit feature volume control?
    Yes, the volume control buttons are located on the LEFT arm of the neckband.
  • Does the Quantum headphone support the Mic monitoring feature?
    Yes. You can configure the volume of the mic monitoring in JBL QuantumENGINE. And the default setting of the mic monitoring is set of “OFF”.
  • Does the OR100 come with additional ear tips?
    Yes, the OR 100 headphones feature 3 different sized ear tips which are small, medium and large.
  • Does the OMNI BAR+ support remote control learning?
    Yes, press and hold the Surround button on the OMNI BAR+ until it starts to blink amber. You are now in pairing mode. Press Volume+ on your OMNI BAR+, then press Volume+ on your remote control. The surround button will quickly flash white, to indicate it has learned Volume+. Repeat for Volume-, and Mute, and then hold down the Surround button to exit remote control learning.
  • Does the OMNI BAR+ support 4K movies?
    No, since the OMNI BAR+ does not have any HDMI input connections, it is only your source, connected to the TV, (and of course your TV) that need to be 4K compatible.
  • Does the No. 519 play SACDs discs?
    The No. 519 does not play SACDs discs.
