  • If there are drop out or connection issues when using PartyBoost or Connect+, it could be one of three things.

    1.      Units are too far apart (move units closer together)

    2.      Interference from other 2.4gHz wireless units in the area.

    3.     Unit is no longer working as designed

Here are some steps to isolate the issue:

Try taking the units out of the house and test it outside with no interference to see if you still experience connectivity issues. If you still experience connectivity issues, please try steps below:

Whatever unit drops off, remove that from the chain. Test the rest of the speakers and keep doing it until you find the speaker that is causing the drop outs.  If all speakers begin to drop off, please try a different order and repeat. Repeat this process with each unit being the “main speaker”.

Make sure to turn off all WiFi/RF devices. (Router, laptop, baby monitor, Nest cams, IP cams, WiFi switches, WiFi outlets, WiFi lights, cordless phones, etc.)

You should be able to identify the issue/speaker by following these steps.

  • It is very simple to connect to your Car with the JBL Partybox 200 or 300. Use the included cable that connects through the cigarette connector in your Car and power on the Partybox! Please note that the 12V connection does not charge the battery in the Partybox 300 - it will only power the Partybox when in use. To charge the battery, it will have to be plugged into AC power ( 110 - 230V )
  • If the remote control stopped working, please check if the batteries are drained. If so, replace them with new ones.

The remote control may have failed to connect with the digital hub. On the touchscreen, tap “Options” > “Remote Control”, then follow the onscreen instructions to pair with the digital hub again.
  • It is possible to connect a turntable to the AUX input of the Radiance 2400. Depending on the turntables output specifications, a phono-preamplifier will in most cases be necessary to connect in-between.
  • The ADAPT+ is made to connect an external subwoofer. The subwoofer needs to be an active device, which means that it must have its own, built-in amplifier.
  • The BDS 235 and 535 owner's manual states that you need an ADAPT to make your system wireless. You do it by connecting the BDS system's analog outputs to the ADAPT's analog AUX input. The ADAPT will then re-stream to your OMNI speakers wirelessly. However, if you listen to the OMNI speakers, and want to listen to the music directly from the BDS system at the same time, there will be a delay in the sound from the OMNI speakers. The BDS speakers will play the music first, and since the ADAPT needs to process the data wirelessly, a delay results. To avoid delay, please mute the BDS system, or connect from the ADAPT line-out to the BDS AUX in instead of the other way around. With this setup, you can only play to the BDS from an OMNI speaker, which will not be delayed in sound.
  • This product is not supported by Connect + or Partyboost on the JBL Portable app. They cannot connect to other portable speakers wirelessly.
  • It can fast charge almost anything with a USB-A or USB-C cable—phones, earbuds, power banks, cameras, even your laptop or gaming console.
  • The right ear cup features volume and (longer press) skip back/forward button, Aux input and USB charging port. On the left side ear cup the CLUB headphones feature the standby button, Bluetooth button and the Smart Ambient button (for Ambient Aware and TalkThru) or, with a longer, the ANC button. JBL has also placed an aux port on the left ear.

  • The silicone ear-tips can be removed and washed in lukewarm water with a little dishwasher liquid. Do not put the headphones into water. Wipe them off with a damp cloth with mild solution of dishwasher liquid. The actual opening for sound can be carefully cleaned with a cotton swab and lukewarm water with dishwasher liquid. Make sure that no water floats into the headphone.
  • The ear-tips can be removed and washed in luke-warm water with a little dish soap. Do not put the headphone into water, it may dried of with a moist cloth. If cloth and a little water doesn't clean sufficiently, use the cleaning-tool which has a brush and scraper to do the job properly
