  • Can i use AURA as a TV speaker?
    Yes, simply connect an AUX (phono) cable from TV to your AURA.
  • Can I use any OMNI+ speaker without being connected to a Wi-Fi network?
    Yes, when out of range of your Wi-Fi network, you can use the Bluetooth or analog auxiliary connection. The OMNI 50+ has a built-in battery as well to take the speaker out of the house.
  • Can I use another power supply than the one which is in the box?
    The Adapt can be powered from any USB port providing 1 amp current, but Harman recommends using the supplied power adapter.
  • Can I use an Omni+ speaker and a 1st generation Omni speaker together in a stereo pair?
    No, stereo pairs must be two of the same type of speaker. For example, two Omni 10 or two Omni 10+ speakers will work, but not one Omni 10 and one Omni 10+.
  • Can I use an in-ceiling speaker as an in-wall unit or vice versa?
    No, in-ceiling speakers cannot be used in the wall due to speaker dimensions. A wall is not deep enough to accommodate the depth of an in-ceiling speaker. For in-wall speakers, you can install them in the ceilings without any depth issues. However, for quality listening, we recommend using architectural speakers according to their intended purpose.
  • Can I use Alexa with my Harman Kardon Allure speaker offline?
    No, the Allure speaker requires an internet connection in order to use Alexa voice commands. You can always listen to music via the Bluetooth connection if you are out of range with your Wi-Fi network
  • Can I use AKG N20 NC for telephone conversations?
    Yes, the remote control permits you to pick up and stop a call, and activate the voice assistant to place a call.
  • Can I use a 3rd party wall-mounting system?
    Yes, just be aware that you are responsible for correct installation when using 3rd party wall mounts. The included wall-mounting kit in the box fits perfectly and is good for outdoor or indoor use.
  • Can I use 2 JBL Boombox speakers in Stereo?
    Yes, from within the JBL Connect App, when you have 2 JBL Boombox speakers connected, set them in Stereo Mode. When you add a 3rd ( or more ) JBL Boombox speakers, they will automatically revert back to Party mode
  • Can I upgrade my AVR 370 through wireless network connection?
    No, upgrade can only be performed with a USB stick. There is no danger to the receiver if you try to upgrade through the wireless network, though.
  • Can I update the software on my Aura Studio 2?
    Yes, When an update is available, you will find this on the product website of the Harman Kardon Aura Studio 2, in Manuals and Downloads. You will need to connect your Harman Kardon Aura Studio 2 by USB, and run the software update from a compatible computer.
  • Can I turn the Heart Rate sensor off and still use the Under Armour Sport Wireless Heart Rate headphones for audio?
    You can turn the Heart Rate sensor off and still use the headphones for audio by placing your finger on the right earpiece for 3-4 seconds. You will hear an audio prompt stating, “Heart Rate disconnected” which will turn the Heart Rate sensor off. If you wish to turn the sensor back on, simply place your finger on the RIGHT earpiece again for 3-4 seconds until you hear the voice prompt stating that the Heart Rate sensor has been turned back on.
