Typically when we are talking about projectors, they are normally installed in a place where the HDMI cable is too long, and the signal has a hard time reaching the AVR. It is also possible that the projector is not compatible with the AVR. To be sure it works with the AVR, please move projector closer and use a short HDMI cable. We recommend a cable that is 3 meters in length or less. If the projector works with the shorter cable, and you have no choice but to use a longer cable, you will need an HDMI repeater/amplifier/eq/booster (name varies depending on the manufacturer), to boost the signal so that it can make it all the way from the AVR to the projector.Was this helpful? The Harman AVR App controls your receiver through your smartphone, which communicates via your wireless home network.
