The commands are the same as RS232 and you connect to it by telnet on port 7701 of the IP Address of the unit. Yes, the Harman Kardon SB20 features IR learning functionality. Please follow these steps:
- Power on your Harman Kardon SB20.
- Press and hold the SB20 surround button for 5 seconds. This will make the system enter IR learning mode. The power button will flash amber while in learning mode.
- Now the SB20 can learn to respond to your TV remote control. These commands can be learned: To learn the SB 20 VOL+ command, press volume + on the SB 20 top panel, then press VOL+ on your TV remote control. The power button should blink amber, and the surround button will light up for 1 second. This will indicate that the process was successful. Repeat the procedure for volume-, mute and power on/off.
- To exit the learning mode, press and hold the surround button for 5 seconds again. The power button light goes out.
