  • With a short press of the dedicated Bluetooth button on the underside of the right ear cup, it powered on and enter the pairing mode.
     
  • 1. Open the Google Home app 2. Select the LINK VIEW 3. Select SETTINGS. 4. There is a line that says Paired Bluetooth Devices. 5. When you select it, it gives you the option to ENABLE PAIRING MODE. 6. Use your voice - "Hey Google, Open Bluetooth" and LINK VIEW will enable Bluetooth connection. You can disable Bluetooth using "Hey Google, Close Bluetooth" Once you have enabled Bluetooth pairing mode on your LINK VIEW, simply go into your Bluetooth settings menu on your mobile device and connect.
  • To successfully connect the JBL Wireless Microphone Set to a Partybox, connect the supplied 6.3mm jack dongle to the Partybox's Microphone Input. Now turn on the dongle and the Partybox. The dongle's Power button light should stay lit, if the light turns off or does not stay lit it is off and needs to be charged with the provided USB cable.*

    Now turn on one or both microphones as required and increase the Mic volume and gain to the desired level. The LED screen will show a channel number 'CH-1', 'CH-2', etc. The channel number is not changeable manually, and may change between power cycles, but all channels will connect automatically to the dongle. If the LED screens do not show a channel number, the batteries in the microphones need to be replaced.

    *Charging the dongle while in use is not recommended and will likely cause unwanted interference.
  • TV Connection HDMI (ARC)

    1. Connect your HDMI cable (included in the box) to your TV.
    2. Locate your TVs HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) port.
    3. Find the HDMI OUT on the back of your Enchant 800 or 1300 Soundbar.
    4. Now enjoy watching TV and listen to great audio through your Enchant soundbar.

    Optical connection

    1. Connect your Optical cable (included in the box) to your TV.
    2. Find the Optical OUT connection on your TV.
    3. Locate the Optical IN on the back of your Enchant soundbar.
    4. Enjoy sound through the optical connection.

    Using the HDMI Inputs

    Other devices
    1. Find an HDMI Cable for your other devices.
    2. Use the HDMI inputs on the Enchant Soundbar.
      1. NOTE: Enchant 800 only have one HDMI input port and Enchant 1300 has three HDMI input ports.
    3. Switch source using your Remote control or pressing the source selector buttonspruce.
    4. The display on your Enchant device will show which HDMI input you are on.
    5. Enjoy watching or playing through your Enchant Soundbar.

     
  • You can enjoy streaming your favorite music over WiFi to your JBL BAR 9.1 Surround by adding it to your network. Turn on your soundbar. Download the Google Home app to your phone. Enable Bluetooth and Location services on your device. Open Google Home app Follow the instructions given in the app. You are now connected to your WiFi network and can enjoy streaming music to your system. The soundbar will now be able to automatically update, to make sure the performance is the best at all times.
  • You can enjoy streaming your favorite music over WiFi to your JBL BAR 5.1 Surround by adding it to your network.

    Connecting to WiFi
    • Turn on your soundbar.
    • Download the Google Home app to your phone.
      • Available on Android and Apple.
    • Enable Bluetooth, Location services on your Android device.
    • Enable Bluetooth on your Apple device.
    • Open Google Home app
    • Follow the instructions given in the app.
    You are now connected to your WiFi network and can enjoy streaming music to your system.

  • Visit the App Store and download the ‘Amazon Alexa’ App.

    1. Click the Plus(+) button on the top right of the screen.
    2. Then select ‘Add Device‘.
    3. Select headphones from the list and then choose your Headphones from the list of available devices.
    4. Follow the rest of the instructions in the Alexa App to complete the setup.
  • If not pre-installed on your Android device, visit your App store to download the ‘Google Assistant’ App.

    After you have paired your JBL headphones to your device via Bluetooth, you should receive a pop-up notification (pictured below). Please tap the notification on your device to start the Google Assistant setup. You will now be directed to the Google Assistant App.

    Follow the steps to connect and pair “JBL XXXX-LE” (depends on your model) with your devices.

  • To control the Light show on your JBL Partybox device, simply press the dedicated "Light show" button located under the Bluetooth icon. There are 3 different light shows available when toggling through them, select your favorite one and have a blast. There is no app developed to control or modify these settings, all settings have to be done on the Partybox device.
  • Bluetooth Pairing

    1. Press the BT button button on the Partybox to start the pairing process.
    2. Grab your mobile device.
    3. Go to settings --> Bluetooth --> Enable Bluetooth --> BT ON
    4. Find the Partybox speaker you want to establish a Bluetooth connection to.

    1. You now have a successful connection and can stream your favorite music.
      1. NOTE: It is only possible to have two devices connected at the same time and if you want to listen through the second Bluetooth device then stop the current one from playing and use the second device.
      2. To stop Bluetooth broadcasting then insert a USB device.

    1. In our latest update for Citation, we added a couple of new features.
      We are going to talk about our new programmable preset feature.

      With this feature, you can add a voice command such as "Turn off the lights in the Bedroom" or "Play my playlist Rock road classic" without using your voice.
      Once you have recorded the action, you will see an icon on your Citation display. Tap on this specific recorded command, and the Citation will do all the magic for you!

      Enough of what it can do, let us create a preset:
      1. Scroll down on your Citation Display to you see "Voice presets."
      2. Press on the + sign.
      3. Say your command: Play Radio FM
        1. Do not use "Hey or OK, Google at this point."
      4. Press the "V" icon after the command is finished.
      5. Select an icon.
      6. Your Preset is now ready, tap it to give it a try.
      To delete any presets.
      • Press and hold down the preset.
      • A menu will appear, hit the "TRASHCAN" icon.
    2. If you have two of the same model Google Assistant speakers, you can create a stereo speaker system.

      How to create a stereo pair...

      1. Open the Google Home appUser-added image
      2. Find the speaker you want to setup in stereo pair
      3. Find the speaker/room User-added image
      4. Tap on Settings User-added image
      5. Go to Sound Settings
      6. Find the Speaker pair
      7. You are now entering the setup page pair Tap User-added image
      8. Find your speaker under the Pair with list and tap.
      9. Move the speaker to be Left or Right side and press User-added image
        1. You can tap on Play sound to identify which speaker it is.
      10. Find a name for your Stereo pair User-added image
      11. It takes a minute to complete the setup.
      12. When the configuration is done it will say Ready READY
      13. Press Done
      You have now completed the setup and created a Stereo pair sound experience.

      NOTE 1:  This is only possible with two of the same speakers.  If they are not identical (Example: Citation 100 & Citation One), setting up a stereo pair will not be an option.

      NOTE 2:  It is possible to make a stereo pair of a Mk1 with a Mk2. Setup as normal.
      Airplay from the Mk2 will not be available.

      NOTE 3: It is only possible to use Chromecast and Bluetooth in stereo, Airplay will be mono (and should be grouped in iOS Airplay menu.


       
      1. There are two steps in the calibration
        1. Place the surround speakers beside your seating position and press the CALIBR button on the remote control. Follow the instruction to start the 1st calibration
        2. After the 1st calibration done, place the surround speakers in your desired location and press CALIBR on the remote control to start the 2nd calibration
      2. In Power On mode, press and hold 'Volume+' together with 'Play/Pause' for more than 2 seconds. The speaker will power off and is now reset.
      3. Press and hold the Microphone Mute button for >13 seconds
      4. Double-tap the button on the right earbud, then on the third tap - press and hold the button for more than 5 seconds (until the unit shuts off). 
        This restores the earbuds to the factory defaults.
        TWS must be connected to perform the reset, so neither of the earbuds should be off or in the charging case.
        It also may be necessary to remove or forget the earbuds from the list of paired Bluetooth devices in order to pair again.
      5. Place both ear pods in the charging box, while the charging box is plugged into a power source. Press and hold the button on the Right pod for about 5 seconds. The LED on the pod will turn off and then turn back on again. This restores to factory defaults. (Please note that charging must take place for reset to work.) It also may be necessary to remove or forget the earbuds from the list of paired Bluetooth devices in order to pair again.
      6. NOTE: Apple IOS users are not able to find their MAC address in Google Home app due to privacy policies in the USA and European market.

        We advise setting up your device on a less secure network. Log into the router and retrieve the MAC address for your device then add it to your preferred network.

        Instructions below are for Android only

        1. Open your Google Home app Google Home app
        2. Enable Bluetooth User-added image on your device.
        3. Enable Location service User-added image on your Android device.
          1. Remember to "Allow" Google Home to view your location while using the app (You are asked during setup of the Google Home app).
          2. In case you denied access go to Settings User-added image Apps User-added image Google Home User-added image Permissions User-added image Allow to view Location.
        4. When you at selecting the Wi-Fi network from the list of available networks, before tapping on your network you need to get the MAC address.
          1. Tap  the User-added image located top right corner.
          2. In the pop-up menu press "Show MAC address" User-added image Write down the MAC Address.

        You can now add the MAC address to your local Wireless router or system if your configuration requires this before installing the device on your network.

        Finding the MAC address after speaker is installed

        1. Open your Google Home app Google Home app.
        2. Tap on  to view your home.
        3. Find your room User-added image.
        4. In the top right corner tap Settings icon User-added image.
        5. ​Scroll down to the bottom of the screen. You will see some system information and the MAC address as well.
      7. Finding the software version

        1. Press and hold the 'Volume-' and 'Bass Boost' buttons for 5 seconds.
        2. A voice will start prompting numbers which indicates the current software version.

      8. Playing local playlist that you created via Spotify works differently for Android TV system, which the LINK BAR has built-in!

        Here is how to do it:
        1. Go to the Google Play Store on your TV screen (Use remote to navigate).
        2. Download the Spotify app
        3. Sign-in with your account.
        4. You can use the dedicated app and navigate through your playlist.
        5. Alternatively, you can now use voice commands such as "Ok Google, Play my Playlist Sunday Funday On Spotify"
        Now you can enjoy Spotify using voice or the Remote Control.

        *Some commands may not be available in all countries.
      9. JBL TOUR ONE
        Power off Tour One first and hold the ambient aware button on the left earcup for 2 seconds. You can get ANC on without Bluetooth connection, which will save your battery. Once you slide up the button on the right ear cup to power on, Bluetooth connection and music will return to normal.

        JBL TOUR PRO+ TWS
        Press and hold both right and left earbuds on Tour Pro+ TWS for 5 seconds at the same time. You can get ANC on without Bluetooth connection, which will save your battery. Once you press and hold both right and left earbuds for 5 seconds, Bluetooth connection and music will return to normal.

      10. In case one of the earbuds loses its connection, you can do a manual pairing process by following the instructions below.
        1. You can manually pair your earbuds by placing both back into the charging case and closing the lid.
        2. Open the lid again, take them out of the charging case, and tap 3 times on each earbud simultaneously until you see the purple LED flash.
        3. You will see the earbuds enter into Bluetooth pairing mode, and the connection between the Left and Right earbud is successful.
        1. Press and hold the [VOL- ] and [SOURCE] buttons simultaneously.  The software version will scroll across the front display.
        2. If a newer software version is available, download it from the JBL website.
        3. Copy the two files to the Root directory of an empty USB thumb drive.
          • Update.zip
          • Checksum.txt
        4. On the bar, press and hold the [POWER] and [SOURCE] buttons for more than 10 seconds.  This will reset the BAR 5.1 Surround.
        5. Insert the USB thumb drive into the USB port on the rear panel of the bar.
        6. On the bar, press and hold the [POWER] and [VOL-] buttons for more than 10 seconds to begin the software update process.
        7. "UPDATING" will appear on the front display of the bar.
        8. Wait for the software update to complete.  The unit will reboot and go back to standby.
        9. Turn unit on.
        10. Press and hold the [VOL- ] and [SOURCE] buttons simultaneously.  The new software version will scroll across the front display.

      11. Mute

        1. Touch the microphone icon on the screen to mute the Google Voice assistant microphone.
          1. NOTE: Google Assistant will not work when the microphone is muted.
        2. Touch and press it again to unmute the microphone.
        3. You can now give it any voice commands that you would like.
      12. We included a Remote Control in your box (I know, that's sweet of us), and you need to pair it with your LINK BAR before it is working.

        This is how you will do it
        1. Press the BLUETOOTH button on the LINK BAR
        2. Now hold the BLUETOOTH button down for 3-5 seconds.
        3. When you see "SEARCHING FOR ACCESSORIES" on your TV screen, release the BLUETOOTH button.
        4. On your REMOTE press the HOME and BACK buttons at the same time.
        5. A Green LED light will flash on the REMOTE to indicate that it is in pairing mode.
        6. Keep holding down the buttons until you see a message on the TV screen that says, "Pairing remote control to LINK BAR" After 10 seconds, release.
        7. If done successfully on your TV screen, you will see an indicator counting down that it will "pair" with your remote.
        Enjoy your entertainment with few clicks away!

        BONUS TIP:  There is an Android app called Android TV that will turn your Smartphone into a Remote controller.
      13. How to pair an Enchant Subwoofer with your Enchant bar

        1. Go to the back of your Enchant soundbar (800 or 1300)
        2. Press the "Subwoofer pairing" button for 2 seconds.

        1. In front of your Enchant display, it will say "Subwoofer pairing"
        2. Go to the back of your Enchant subwoofer.
        3. Press the "Subwoofer pairing" button.
        SUB - pair
        1. The small LED indicator will start to flash rapidly and when the connection is successful, it will be a steady light.

        You now have more bass performance and can enjoy deeper richer sound!
      14. 1. Power on your Enchant 800 or Enchant 1300 Soundbar. 2. There are two ways to enter Bluetooth pairing mode on your Enchant soundbar. 2.1. Press the dedicated source button on top of your Enchant soundbar source 2.2. Press the source button until you see "Bluetooth" in the front of the Enchant display. 3. The second option is to use the Remote control included with your Enchant soundbar. 4. Press the "BT" button on your Remote control. 5. The display will show "Bluetooth pairing". 6. Go to your Bluetooth settings menu on your mobile device. 7. Enable Bluetooth and connect to your Enchant 800 or Enchant 1300 Soundbar.
      15. If you want to add more depth and bass to your LINK BAR, we have a dedicated subwoofer (not included with the LINK BAR) that you can purchase!

        Pairing the Subwoofer is very simple:
        1. Turn on the soundbar and the subwoofer. If the connection is lost, the LED indicator on the subwoofer blinks slowly.
        2. Press the “Subwoofer Pairing” button on the SW10 subwoofer to enter pairing mode. The LED indicator on the subwoofer blinks quickly.
        3. Press the “Subwoofer Pairing” button on LINK BAR, the LED indicator on the LINK BAR blinks rapidly
        4. If successful, the pairing LED indicator on both subwoofer and LINK BAR will be a steady white LED light. If pairing fails, the sign on the subwoofer blinks slowly.
        5. If the pairing fails, repeat the steps above. If you are still experiencing problems, please try to switch off all wireless devices in the home (such as routers, TV sets with wireless function, telephones, computers, etc.), then try again. It may be overcrowding on the 5GHz frequency, which often causes problems. By eliminating all other wireless activity, this will help space for the LINK BAR to establish its connection. You now should be able to pair without problems. Once pairing is complete, you can switch your devices on again
