Is there a firmware update for the Authentics L8 / L16 as shown in JBL Music App v.3.0?
With the release of v.3.0 of the JBL Music app, owners of the JBL Authentics L8 and L16 are now greeted with a message that an update is available.
If you own one of these speaker systems, and you know that it already supports Spotify Connect, the update firmware is already installed, and you can ignore this message.
If your speaker system does not already support Spotify Connect, the update is available for you, but you cannot perform it yourself, it must go to a service center to be updated. Please contact Harman Helpdesk or the distributor in your country for advice regarding servicing.
