  • Does splashproof mean, that I can place the speaker in my bathroom?
    Splash proof does not mean the speaker is suitable for bathroom placement, but it does provide protection against sudden exposure.
  • Does SB 250 Support AptX Codec?
    No, SBC Codec and AAC Codec are supported.
  • Does PureVoice work with music?
    PureVoice is designed to work with audio on the HDMI input. It is not active for Wi-Fi music or Bluetooth sources.
     
  • Does my Speaker have Speakerphone/Voice Assistant Functionality?
    This product does not feature speakerphone or voice assistant functionality as it does not have a microphone.
  • Does my speaker have an input selector, or are Bluetooth and AUX signals playing simultaneously?
    Bluetooth keeps on playing, even if you connect something and play to the AUX input. BT keeps on playing, since it has first priority. If you pause or stop BT play, any source playing to the AUX input will now be heard. If you resume play on the BT source, it will take over, and the AUX source is no longer heard, but will of course keep on playing, since there is no way to send a pause or stop signal to the AUX source via the line cable. All of this means that there is an input selector switch built into the device, controlled by the BT play function.
  • Does my JBL Quantum ONE headset provide game and chat audio balance?
    Yes, you can adjust game and chat audio balance by rotating the puck clockwise and anti clockwise. When rotating the puck, you will feel a notch in the puck that indicates 50 game and 50 chat.
  • Does my JBL Quantum 910 Wireless headset provide game and chat audio balance?
    Yes, you can adjust game and chat audio balance by rotating the dial clockwise and counter clockwise. When rotating the dial, you will feel a notch in the dial that indicates that the audio is at 50 in the game and 50 in the chat.
  • Does my Harman Kardon Allure speaker listen all the time?
    The Harman Kardon Allure speaker listens for the hotword "Alexa", and when our speaker detects it then it will open up a connection to the Amazon server and store your search history on your account. You can mute the mircrophone by tapping the Microphone button on the Allure speaker, this will stop the speaker from listening and will not react to Alexa until you unmute it.
  • Does my ESQUIRE2 requires any specific Bluetooth driver for my PC?
    ESQUIRE2 support A2DP Audio Codec, and normally that is enough for a Bluetooth driver to make it work with your PC. You will have to find a Bluetooth driver that supports A2DP Audio Codec.
  • Does my EQ have any impact on the JBL QuantumSURROUND/localization/positioning?
    In general, EQ shouldn’t affect localization — except in the case of the EQ being used very strongly.
  • Does my Control X wireless use Bluetooth connection between speakers?
    No, the connection between our Control XT wireless speakers are established through Wi-Fi connection, running on 2.4 GHz network. The only time you will use Bluetooth, is when you connect to the primary speaker and start streaming music.
  • Does JBL SoundShift work on any/all sources?
    Yes. When SoundShift is active, and your Bluetooth device is connected to your soundbar, you can easily listen to Bluetooth streaming and switch back to the previously selected source just by tapping the pause/play button on your Bluetooth device. When SoundShift is off, your Bluetooth paired device can not interrupt your current source.
  • Does JBL Soundgear have express charging?
    Yes, in two hours, you can charge it to approx. 6 hours of playing time.
  • Does JBL Quantum TWS and JBL Quantum TWS Air support the JBL Headphones app?
    Yes, the JBL Quantum TWS and JBL Quantum TWS air earbuds are compatible with the JBL Headphones app. It'll allow you to control EQ, ANC (only JBL Quantum TWS) and Smart Ambient feature, Smart Audio & Gaming etc. for better experiences with your headset just like other JBL lifestyle products.
  • Does JBL QuantumSURROUND work with every game?
    JBL QuantumSURROUND works with every game, but the experience is better when your game outputs in surround sound. If your game outputs only 2-channel audio, using JBL QuantumSURROUND will sound like a pair of studio monitors in front of you. You’ll be able to hear the reflections of the sound in the room, but as with any stereo setup, you won’t have any discrete sound sources behind you. With a full 7.1 mix, you’ll be able to hear and locate sounds behind and above you.
  • Does JBL Quantum ONE provide surround sound?
    The JBL Quantum ONE provides QuantumSURROUND via the USB connection on PC. You can download QuantumENGINE here: JBLQuantum.com
  • Does JBL Quantum ONE provide mic monitoring (side tone) feature?
    Yes. You can configure the volume of the mic monitoring in JBL QuantumENGINE. The default setting of the mic monitoring is "OFF”.
  • Does JBL QuantumENGINE support x86 CPUs?
    No, the JBL QuantumENGINE only supports x64 CPU Architectures.
  • Does JBL QuantumENGINE software require internet connection to function?
    The JBL QuantumENGINE can run without internet connection, but it needs connection to download and install the software or firmware upgrades.
  • Does JBL QuantumENGINE also support 32 bit Windows?
    No, the JBL QuantumENGINE only supports 64 bit Windows.
  • Does JBL Quantum 910 Wireless provide surround sound?
    The JBL Quantum 910 Wireless provides QuantumSURROUND via the USB connection on PC. 
  • Does JBL Quantum 910 Wireless provide mic monitoring (side tone) feature?
    Yes. You can configure the volume of the mic monitoring in JBL QuantumENGINE. The default setting of the mic monitoring is "OFF”.
  • Does it matter if my game output is 5.1 or 7.1?
    There’s potentially more detail and spatial resolution in a 7.1 channel setup—and the more detail, the better the experience. However, JBL QuantumSURROUND will still work well with 5.1 output.
  • Does it have phantom power for microphones?
    Yes, EON 208P has a selector switch where you can turn phantom power on/off when needed for condenser microphones on CH1 and CH2.
  • Does it have phantom power for microphones?
    No, there is no phantom power in the microphone inputs.
    All power to active microphones must be supplied from an external source.
  • Does it have automatic standby?
    Yes, after approximately 10 minutes of no activity and no audio, the unit goes into sleep mode. It must be awakened with the ON/OFF Button. It is not possible to wake it up with a Bluetooth pairing signal. After 20 minutes of no activity and no audio, the unit will power off.
  • Does Harman Volume on SB20 have more than one level?
    Yes, there are three settings: high, low and off.
  • Does Harman Kardon Allure support phone calls using the Alexa app?
    No, this feature is not yet embedded into our Harman Kardon Allure speaker. Future updates might include this feature, therefore keep an eye on the release notes in our HK Alexa setup app.
  • Does Focus 500/700 feature volume control?
    Yes, the Focus 500/700 features a 3 button mic that features, pause/play, track and volume control.
