To skip the tracks forward, press and hold the volume up (+) button for 1-2 seconds and you will advanced to the next song. To start the current song you are listening to over, press and hold the volume down (-) button for 1-2 seconds. Please note: You can only advance to the next song be skipping forward, you cannot skip tracks backward. To connect to a different Bluetooth device, first switch the headphones off. Now press and hold the center button on the headphone remote control for about 3-5 seconds. You should see the light blinking red/blue to indicate pairing mode, and the voice prompt should state “looking for device”. You should see "Reflect Mini 2" appear on the source's BT list. To reset the headphones, power on the headphones and plug in the USB cable into a USB charger or USB port. Paired mobile devices should disconnect and the led should be constant white. When unplugging the USB cable, the headphones will power off. When manually powering on the headphones, and the last connected mobile phone is not in range, the headphones will revert to Bluetooth Pairing mode ( blue led will blink ) after 5 seconds. Restoring QuantumENGINE to 1.19 from 2.0:
Please note: Before reverting to QuantumENGINE 1.19, please be aware that any settings from QuantumENGINE 2.0 will not be saved and reloaded into QuantumENGINE 1.19.
Uninstall QuantumENGINE v2.0
- Start the uninstall process. Go to: Settings -> Apps -> Installed Apps -> find "JBL QuantumENGINE" and select uninstall.
- When prompted to uninstall, select “Remove all related settings” and click Uninstall
Install QuantumENGINE 1.19
- Click this link to download the JBL QuantumENGINE v1.19: https://support.jbl.com/quantum-engine-latest
- Double-click the downloaded file "JBL_QuantumENGINE_1.19.0.2025_x64" and follow the instructions to finish the installation.
- Restart the PC.
- Launch JBL QuantumENGINE and enjoy!

If the screen appears dark, try repositioning the Horizon 2 for the light sensor to work to the fullest. In some positions, the Horizon 2 cannot effectively detect the ambient light level in the room.

1. Connect the first Partyboost speaker with your phone and keep music playing (for best results play music on this speaker for more than 20 seconds before proceeding with the next steps).
2. Press the Partyboost button on the first speaker.
3. Turn on the second speaker that you want to connect in Partyboost mode.
4. Now press the Partyboost button on the second speaker.
5. After a few seconds, both Partyboost speakers should connect and play together.
It can take a few seconds after music is started before sound will be heard from both speakers.
This is also the process for connecting more than two speakers in Party mode, simply turn on the other compatible speakers and press the Partyboost buttons.
