Subwoofer placement is an art in itself. You will hear two different statements about the positioning of a sub. You will hear people say that it doesn't matter where you put the sub, you can put it anywhere in a room. You will also hear people say that placement is very critical. It sounds like these two statements contradict each other. Believe it or not, they don't. It is generally believed by most audio authorities that low frequencies (below 125Hz) are non-directional, and therefore, placement of a subwoofer within any listening room is not critical. While in theory it is true that the larger wavelengths of very low frequencies are basically non-directional, the fact is that when installing a subwoofer within the limited confines of a room, reflections, standing waves and absorptions generated within the room will strongly influence the performance of any subwoofer system. As a result, specific location of the subwoofer becomes important, and we strongly recommend that you experiment with placement before choosing a final location. The heart rate sensor is located inside the RIGHT earbud inside the sound tunnel. If the Heart Rate detection is activated and you remove the RIGHT earbud, the audio voice will notify you to insert the ear bud and will recalibrate once it is detected again.Was this helpful? On the BT and ELITE NXT series over-ear and on-ear models, the serial number sticker is on the inside of the headband left side, visible when the size adjustment is pulled all the way out.
