  • During Wireless Dual Sound mode, why is there an interruption when music starts playing via Bluetooth?
    It's normal that music will be interrupted for one or two seconds when entering Wireless Dual Sound mode. The two compatible speakers are synchronizing with each other during this connection process. Once they are in sync you will not experience any further interruption.
  • Dual Wireless Sound Information
    The Onyx Studio 7 features Dual Wireless Sound which allows you to connect two Onyx Studio 7 speakers together for a more powerful listening experience. Please note: You cannot connect the Onyx Studio 7 to other Onyx Studio speakers such as the Onyx Studio 6 and 5. 
  • DSP 4086 Tuning Software Crashing/Not Responding

    If your DSP Tuning Software is not responding properly or is crashing, it is likely because the proper USB driver has not yet been installed.  There is an easy fix for this, and it does not require you to uninstall anything.

     
    1. If the tuning software is open, close it.
    2. Go back to your software install files and double-click on “USB Driver”.

    NOTE: Make sure to allow it to make changes to your computer if your anti-virus software requests it.

    1. After the driver is installed, reopen the software.  Your problem should be resolved.
  • Do you need a phone to use Vi?
    Yes, a phone with GPS capabilities is needed so that the Vi Fitness app can start and stop workouts, track biometrics, measure and store data, track features like elevation and location, and play music during training. We support iOS (9+) and Android OS (Lollipop +) devices however we recommend having the latest OS on any device for the best Vi experience.
  • Do you have replacement cables available for my Everest headphones?
    Cables and other spare parts for EVEREST can be obtained from either the distributors or from authorized service centers. Please contact Harman Customer Support to get the necessary contact details.

  • Do you have a guide that explains the best placement for the OMNI+ speakers in a house?
    Every home is different, so it is difficult to provide a universal guide that suits it all. What you can do is check the number of available access points in your home by performing a Wi-Fi network scan using a mobile device. Then select the Wi-Fi channel that isn't as busy as the rest. Also, check how much noise each speaker has using the Harman Kardon Controller app. Simply go into the settings menu and select "Send us feedback" to see the results, signals between -40 dB and -62 dB are considered good.
  • Do the UA Train headphones support AptX low latency?
    No. UA Train does not support AptX™ and AptX HD™ audio codecs.
  • Do the normal BT models have voice prompt, or can it be changed?
    Yes , all 5 models have voice prompts. The Elite models have the added option of turning off the voice prompts in the settings menu of the app. The Everest 300 and 700, as well as the successors 310 and 710, have the option of choosing between voice prompts and tone prompts. This is how you do it: Switch the headphones ON. Press and hold the Shareme and the Volume Plus buttons for about two seconds. Switch the headphones OFF. You will now hear the OFF prompt having changed to the prompt you did not use before, and you will hear this one until you change it again.
  • Do the Flip 4 and Charge 3 float in water?
    No, the IP waterproof specification means that these speakers can be immersed in water 1 m deep for 30 minutes. It does not mean that they can float, so please be careful. If dropped, they will sink to the bottom.
  • Do the Everest Series headphones support AAC or aptX?
    Sorry, neither AAC nor aptX are supported.
  • Do the Everest headphones need to be fully charged before attempting the update?
    It is not a bad idea to have the headphone charged before updating, but only if it is completely empty will there be any difference. To update via cable, a USB cable connection must be established between the headphone and the computer, and since the cable is also used for charging, there will be power to the headphone as long as it is connected to the computer. If the battery is depleted, it may be necessary to wait a little while, until a basic level of charging has been reached. Please note that the ELITE models with the most recent software permit wireless upgrade, directly from the control app on a smartphone. In this case, it is of course necessary to have power enough in the battery to sustain the whole upgrading process, since it takes place without cable.
