Yes, the smooth leather headband from the K601 can be fitted onto the K701, but since it is probably no longer available as a spare part, the only option is to butcher an old 601 to do it. The work involved is very intricate and complicated, and paying a technician to do it is not an economical solution. Owner must be capable of completely dismantling the headphones, including soldering, and to reassemble them. And Harman cannot offer any assistance in doing this. As of late 2017, a new version of K701 is being marketed by AKG Professional. Yes, you can listen to music via cabled connection while you charge the battery. As soon as you insert the charging cable, all active circuits are switched off, and only the analog cable input remains active. Yes, the JBL Playlist can be reset to factory settings. First, Power ON the JBL Playlist. Secondly, press and hold the Play and Volume (-) buttons simultaneously for about 10 seconds, and after 10 seconds you should see the Play/Pause and Bluetooth button light up, followed by the speaker going into Standby. Currently in Record, you can not customize ranges for each heart rate zone but you can customize your Max heart rate, which affects your zone ranges. Edit your Max heart rate by going to My Profile page by tapping the person icon in the top left corner. Tap the edit button in the top left corner to edit the Max HR field.Was this helpful?
