Instructions for software upgrade
- Download the latest software version from JBL.com and bin file: Unify.BIN
- Prepare one empty USB Stick and create a new folder (named “UPG”) in the root directory, then copy the bin file to the new UPG folder.
- Please mount the two detachable speakers onto the main Soundbar and subwoofer upgrade port to AUX input, then power on the Soundbar.
- Please insert the USB Stick into the Soundbar USB port on its rear panel and long-press: [POWER] and [VOL- ] on the Soundbar for 10 seconds to start the software upgrade. Wait for the software upgrade to complete. The Soundbar will go back to standby mode.
- To Check Software version:
- Press and hold the DIM DISPLAY button on the remote control for 5 seconds in any source, followed by the short press of the SOUND MODE and then the short press of the NIGHT MODE button.
- To check the subwoofer software version, please connect the subwoofer to Soundbar via a 3.5mm AUX-in cable and follow the above procedure

Check to see if it happens with all source devices (TV, BluRay, DVD, etc.). If it only happens with one device and not the other, the issue may be with that device. Yes, this is correct. The AVR171, 171S, 1710 & 1710S only supports OSD on on the HDMI 1 output. HDMI 2 doesn't not show the OSD. The AVR370 and 3700 supports OSD on both HDMI outputs.Was this helpful? Thank you for your feedback!

Yes, this is correct. The AVR 1x1S does not support OSD on HDMI 2 out, only on HDMI 1. If customers want OSD on two HDMI outputs, they can buy the AVR 370.Was this helpful? Thank you for your feedback!
