  • In the speaker setup menu, I can select HKTS 60, but my speaker system is HKTS 65. What do I do?
    The HKTS 65 is a new version of the HKTS 60, with minor improvements. Please select HKTS 60 in the menu.

    What’s New:
    1. Fixed a pop noise sound when you play/pause the music.
    2. Fixed an issue where Bluetooth pairing is always available without pressing the Bluetooth button.
    3. Enable factory reset via the reset pinhole next to the microphone mute button. For example, use a paperclip, press and hold the button for 5 seconds to reset your Invoke speaker.
    4. Other minor bug fixes and improvements.


    There are two ways to perform this update.

    Option 1 (recommended): Do It Yourself Update

    1. Download the zip file from the link above.
    2. Unzip/Extract the entire contents of the zip file.
    3. Read through the instructions (OTA2.pdf) before performing the update to familiarize yourself with the procedure.
    4. Process 1: Install the driver in your Windows 10 computer so that it can recognize and communicate with your INVOKE.
      1. NOTE: This is not possible on computers that use BitLocker or other corporate encryption tools. Use a personal computer that does not use advanced encryption.
    5. Process 2: Install the update on your INVOKE via your Windows 10 computer.


    OPTION 2: Factory Update

    1. Click on the link above.
    2. Fill out the online form.
    3. Select INVOKE in the Product field.
    4. Type “Software Update Request” in the Description Of Issue/Problem field.
    5. Click Submit.
    6. Wait to receive an email within 48 hours with instructions for shipping back your unit.
    7. Please note that you are responsible for carefully packing your INVOKE and all shipping charges.
    8. Harman will update your product and send it back to you within 2-6 weeks.

  • In your specification sheet for ESQUIRE2. It says that is has A2DP profile, which codec is supported?
    Our A2DP profile only support SBC Codec for ESQUIRE 2.
  • IP67 Information
    This product is rated IP67, which is different from IPX7. IP67 protects the product from submersion in 1 meter (3.3 feet) of water for up to 30 minutes. It is also resistant against dust. Dust accumulation around electronics can lead to hardware failure, so the IP67 rating is an extremely beneficial addition to this product.

    This unit is fully dust-proof, and can withstand continuous immersion in water (up to 1.5 meters / 4.9ft for 30 minutes). 
  • I received an email telling me that my Personalized order had been cancelled due to an image violation. Why did this happen?
    We use a sophisticated vetting process to ensure that your image does not contain copyrighted, protected, sexual, suggestive, offensive or inappropriate elements. This includes words and messages. If these algorithms are triggered, your order is automatically cancelled. Please try again with a different image or wording.
  • I received my InfinityLab power bank, but it could not be charged
    With different storage conditions and shipping durations, your power bank may go into deep sleep mode to protect the battery. If the power bank does not start charging your device when used for the first time, connect the power bank to a power source and charge it for 15-30 minutes, it should then work normally.   • Is an analog aux signal fed to the jack input available on the analog jack output?
    Yes, but only with power on the Adapt. When it senses a signal on the analog aux input, the input ring will light up green automatically, and the signal will become available from the line output, for transmission with cable to e.g. an amplifier. It is important to note that there will be a slight delay in the signal that comes out of the line output jack, even if it does not involve any wireless functions.
  • Is Bluetooth APT X streaming supported by the JBL Bar Studio, Bar 2.1, Bar 3.1, Bar 5.1 and Bar 9.1?
    The speaker uses Bluetooth version 4.2 but does NOT support APT X.
  • I see AURA as AirPlay device, but not as DLNA device, how come?
    If your device is capable of seeing AURA as an AirPlay unit, it will also be available as DLNA device, as AURA needs to be connected to your network for it to work as DLNA/AirPlay unit. Make sure your devices are on the same network.
  • I see that your new AURA supports Spotify Connect. Will my older AURA be elegible for upgrading to Spotify Connect?
    Current AURA customers will be able to upgrade your speaker to support Spotify Connect. Simply use the HK Remote app, as it will be OTA update. Otherwise, contact our helpdesk for help.
  • Is it ok to keep it plugged into a power source all the time?
    It will not damage the battery that power supply is connected all the time.
  • Is it ok to wash it if the fabric part gets dirty?
    Yes you can wash it if the fabric is dirty. But remember to close the USB cover.
  • Is it portable, can I carry it around?
    Yes. This product has a rechargeable battery, handle for carrying and feet to stand.
  • Is it possible to adjust light intensity on the display or the back panel ring lamp?
    The lights cannot be adjusted by user. The digital front panel display has automatic light intensity adjustment, which follows the level of light in the room.
  • Is it possible to change the Bluetooth name?
    Yes, in the Harman Kardon Remote APP, it is possible to change the AURA's Bluetooth name.
  • Is it possible to change the name of a receiver with internet connection?
    Yes, on your computer, enter the IP address of the receiver in the internet browser. In the page that opens, it is possible to change the name.
  • Is it possible to charge a smartphone or tablet that is connected to the ESQUIRE 2?
    Yes, when the Esquire 2 is switched ON, it can charge a smartphone or tablet (or other USB-chargeable device that matches) through the special USB port. This function is available both when Esquire 2 is running on battery, and when connected to a charging port itself.
  • Is it possible to clean the inside of the AURA?
    It is not possible to clean the clear dome of the AURA. The dome cannot be removed without damaging the product. The only solution if debris falls into the AURA is to try to shake it out through the bass tube. We cannot recommend using a vacuum cleaner to suck or blow through the bass tube.
  • Is it possible to connect a subwoofer to the soundbar?
    The JBL Bar 300 does not support a subwoofer. Alternatively the JBL Bar 500 has a wireless subwoofer included.
  • Is it possible to connect multiple Bluetooth devices to my SB20?
    No, it only supports one Bluetooth connection. Simply disconnect the paired phone/tablet from your Bluetooth device settings, then hold down the Bluetooth button for 3 seconds, and then you are able to pair with the new smartphone/tablet.
  • Is it possible to connect my Phone via USB, to play my music content from that?
    No, your USB device has to be formatted FAT32, which a smartphone device cannot be.
  • Is it possible to connect rear/surround speakers
    The JBL Bar 500 does not support rear/surround speakers. Alternatively the JBL Bar 800/1000 has detachable wireless rear speakers included.
