  • Download the Google Home app, available for iOS and Android versions. 1. Open the Google Home app. 2. Plug in power for your Enchant 800 or Enchant 1300 Soundbar. 3. Enable Bluetooth. 3.1.     How to check your PC settings for the correct recording device

    Please also make sure the volume control on the headset is turned up. Rotate the volume wheel on your headset to increase the volume.
    Check that your headset's Game-Chat balance dial and ensure that the balance is correct, you might refer to the screenshot below from the QuantumEngine PC software.

    If you still cannot hear the game or music audio, or if the volume is still very low, check if the TalkThrough is activated via the QuantumEngine software.

    Finally, you can also do a short press on the Smart Ambient button on the headset (if your headset, has this feature)

  • To show the current firmware version on your JBL TUNER device, go through the following steps.
    1. Turn on the JBL TUNER.
    2. Press and hold this three-button combination: DAB/FM+ Volume+ and Preset 5, simultaneously for 3-4 seconds.
    3. In the display, you will see a combination of letters and numbers. This is the current software version.

  • Our new JBL Link Music and Link Portable both support Apple AirPlay 2. Pick up your Apple device, use your favorite music streaming service, and connect to the JBL speaker! Please note: before using Apple AirPlay 2, you will need to install it on your WiFi network, either using the Google Home app or Apple Home app ( your choice! ).
  • Onboard Active Noise Cancelling is controlled by the multi-function button on the rear of the left ear-cup. Switched on by default, you can SINGLE press the ANC button to toggle it On/Off  and LONG press to active TalkThru. Turn on ANC again by a single press on the multi-function button.
  • Yes, you can adjust the game and chat audio balance by rotating the dial-up and down. When you rotate the dial, you'll feel a notch that indicates the balance is 50% game and 50% chat. The slider on Quantum ONE is different and has no notch but instead a visual indicator.
  • The voice assistant you select in the initial set-up (pictured below) will be used as the default assistant on your headphones.

    You can change the default assistant in the ‘My JBL Headphones’ app:
    1. Open the My JBL Headphones app on your device.
    2. Select the headphones you are connected too.
    3. Go to Settings by clicking the symbol in the top right corner.
    4. Select Voice Assistant.
    5. Now you can select your preferred voice assistant.

    Your headphones may restart after switching Voice Assistant.
  • Troubleshooting on a Wi-Fi Network:

    1. Unplug your router, then plug it back in.
    2. Give the router a minute or two to start up again.
    3. Make sure your phone, tablet, or computer has reconnected to the correct Wi-Fi network before checking the SmartThings app again, making sure not to connect to a guest network, as this can prevent your devices from connecting to your speaker.
    4. Use the router’s default “WPA2” security setting. Do no use “WEP” security setting on the router as this is not supported to connect your speaker with the internet.
    Troubleshooting with ethernet:
    1. Check the ethernet cable to make sure that the ethernet cable is firmly plugged in to both the router and your speaker.
    2. If possible, try connecting the ethernet cable to a different port on the router.
    3. You can also try using a different ethernet cable to make sure that the cable is not faulty.
  • Once an alarm is set and starts to ring, it can be snoozed by tapping the large central knob/button on the top of the unit (circled in yellow in the image below). If this button is held for more than 2 seconds it will turn off the alarm.

    The duration of the snooze cannot be changed and is fixed to 9 minutes. The alarm will continue to ring for 3 minutes and if not turned off or snoozed, it will automatically snooze after this time. It will automatically snooze for a maximum of 3 times, but if the snooze button is used before this occurs, the alarm can be snoozed an unlimited number of times.

    Once snoozed, the display shows the time that the alarm will next ring.

    To keep the radio playing after the alarm is turned off, press one of the 3 preset buttons or the DAB/FM button as desired.
  • Press and hold the Lightshow button for more than 2 seconds to turn off the Lightshow.
  • 1. Put the earbuds back into the charging case and close the lid. 2. Press and hold the buttons on both the left and right earbuds for more than 2 seconds. Alternatively, only press and hold one of the buttons to just turn off the left or right earbud as required. 3. Use the Auto-off function via the JBL Headphone app (Only applicable for headphones supported in our JBL Headphone app).
  • To turn on/off the TV, the recommended control is “OK Google, turn on”/”OK Google, turn off.”

    Note that this depends on your TV manufacturer and if they support this via HDMI CEC (This works only for HDMI connection).
  • You can update our Quantum 600 and 800 using the QuantumENGINE software on your PC.
    To update the headset, go to SYSTEM SOFTWARE tab, find section HEADSET, and press CHECK FOR UPDATE and then INSTALL UPDATE.
  • The remote control included with your LINK BAR can be updated, if a new version becomes available for your device.

    There are two ways to find out if an update is available.
    • A notification on your Android TV screen will appear. When clicking on it with your remote, more information will pop up.
    • Manually check for an update, in case you have dismissed the notification, or the system does not show it.
    Checking for update
    To manually check for an update, please follow the instructions.
    1. Go to "Settings" on your Android TV (ICON)
    2. Find Connected Devices
    3. Click on LINK BAR Remote
    4. Under the Update firmware, if there is an update available, you will see it under the name.

    The latest firmware version for your remote control is 1.27 (Changes to firmware numbers will change in the future).

    5. Confirm the update for your remote control. The system ill download the files, and automatically start to update your remote.
    5.1 NOTE: The battery needs to have more than 20% power left. If your remote is under 20%, you need to change the batteries, as this may break the remote control device.
    6. When the update is ongoing, you must keep the remote control near the LINK BAR. This is because the remote is using Bluetooth to communicate with the system, and updating the device happen through Bluetooth connection. The update may take around 10 minutes or less.
    7. When update is complete, this message "Remote is up to date," is visible, and you have the latest firmware.
    1. On an Android or iOS device, add the Soundbar to your home WiFi network through the JBL BAR Setup App.
    2. Follow the App instructions to complete setup.

  • For airplanes or analog listening, plug 3.5mm audio plug into headphone audio input to engage passive (wired) audio.
    The headphones will power off when the audio cable is plugged in.
    Passive audio listening will work even if the battery is depleted and the microphone and buttons are disabled during the passive mode.

    NOTE: The No 5909 is only compatible with Mark Levinson's proprietary passive audio cables.
  • Smart pass-through charging helps you boost your device and power bank simultaneously through one wall outlet.

    Here is how it works:
    1. Plug your power bank into a wall charger.
    2. Connect your device to the power bank (using the integrated cable or connecting a cable to it).
    3. Press the power button on the power bank to trigger charging if your phone/device doesn't indicate it is charging.
  • Before you start

    • Remove any interference that might be blocking the Soundbar side-firing speakers.
    • Any ambient noise or sounds that could disrupt the calibration needs to be out of the room.
    • In case you are moving the Enchant Soundbar you will need to calibrate the sound again.
    • If something went wrong, you can always delete the calibration settings by resetting the system.
      • Press and hold Power - button and  Soruce button down for 5 seconds.
      • This will delete all settings, including the Wi-Fi connection.


    How to use the MultiBeam feature

    1. Press and hold the CALIBRATION iconbutton for 3 seconds.
      1. On the Enchant display a timer will start counting down from 3 to 0 (Once hitting 0 the Calibration will begin).

    1. The calibration takes around 60 seconds before it is complete. While calibrating you will hear some noises coming from the speaker.
    2. When finished the display on the Enchant Soundbar will say "DONE"

     
  • It is offering low-latency wireless connectivity via a 2.4Ghz signal that is enabled by a USB dongle included in the box. Turn on the slider, then it automatically connect to the dongle. If you loss the connectivity with the dongle, power on with the slider and hold on for 5 seconds and press and hold the dongle to make sure the pairing until listening to the tone.
  • The 4 LED's on the front of the unit will light up.
  • When all 5 battery level indicator led's are illuminated solid white.
  • The JBL Charge 3 has a battery level indicator, which consists of 5 LED's and display battery level.
  • The power on/off symbol/button will flash white consistently. The LED switches to OFF when charging is complete.

  • We do not recommend using WEP encryption method, as this can leave your Wi-Fi vulnerable to outside threats. Our OMNI+ does not support this encryption type, we are supporting WPA and up.
  • Make sure you disable AP/Client isolation on your Access Point / Extender and that Multicast forwarding is not disabled between the W-Fi networks. However, we cannot guarantee than streaming will work flawless as Extender networks are tricky and can cause many issues. Always use a 5GHz Wi-Fi network extender for best results.
  • Our ESQUIRE2 support A2DP Audio codec, which you will need for your MAC to be able to play to our ESQUIRE2.
  • The upgrade via HID tool will only update the Bluetooth module inside of the BDS device. There are two ways of upgrading your system. 1: Upgrading Bluetooth via HID Tool. 2: Upgrade BDS firmware via the built-in software center. The built-in software center will not upgrade your Bluetooth module.
  • Close and reopen the app. This will ensure that the app recognizes the headphones.

  • JBL DRG will auto reconnect to the last device. To setup a connection with new Bluetooth head unit, press the “reset” button in the App. The device will then search for a discoverable Bluetooth connection and setup.
  • To use the Spotify Connect feature for JBL Playlist, a premium Spotify account is required. Please visit www.Spotify.com/freetrial for 30 days of complimentary premium account trial for first time users.
  • Please keep the app running during a firmware upgrade. This is because the app is using BLE to transfer firmware to the JBL DRG. If you exit or kill the app, this will cause the BLE connection to be broken and the upgrade will not complete.
  • 1. Make sure all wall and power outlet switches are on, and that all switches for your speaker system are on. Switch mains power to the system on/off by pressing the bass speaker volume button located on the back of the subwoofer. This button acts as power button when pushed in. 2. Ensure that the input jack is pushed all the way into the output socket on the source device. Check all the connections and secure them. 3. Your volume settings are too low or muted. Increase your volume by pressing the + key located on the right satellite. You can also check volume from your source device. If you are using a computer, check the volume control located in the taskbar, as well as the volume control in the media player or browser. This will mean a total of three volume controls in your computer alone. 4. To mute and unmute the speakers, touch the shining + and - controls on the right-hand "stick" at the same time. Only a slight touch is needed, since these are purely electronic touchpads.
  • Unless the two remote controls are identical, you can only assign one remote control at a time to the SB16.
  • To use Chromecast, you must continue the setup in the Google Home app first.
    Configuring the speaker only with Apple WAC will not enable the Chromecast feature.
    For this to happen, you must sign-in with your Google account.

    You can quickly try out the Chromecast feature, and if you do not like it, reset your Citation or LINK speaker, and redo the configuration part on your Apple device.
  •  

    There is a known problem using Bilibili audio over AirPlay on iOS 16. Until the issue is fixed, please try using Bluetooth instead.

  • Please try turning Bluetooth off on your phone and trying again, and make sure Location services are enabled for the Google Home app. If this does not work, certain phones are not compatible with the Google Home setup process, including the Vivo X21A, Vivo NEX S, and Vivo X9. Please use a different device for setup.
  • Use the Google Voice Assistant button on your Citation soundbar remote control when using these inputs HDMI, AUX or Optical. When you press this button, the current volume level will temporarily decrease and the Google Voice Assistant will begin listening for your command. The reason you need to use the remote control is that Google Assistant does not support Multi-channel audio from your source device (TV, BlueRay Player or TV-BOX) and therefore the mic is automatically muted unless the Google Voice Assistant button is pressed. Google Voice Assistant is always listening when streaming music over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.
  • The built-in YouTube app is able to stream up to 1080P content. Video with higher resolution is not available.
  • We designed the USB folder data to show the latest modified folder and it is a design preference. It is not possible to change this setting.
  • No, if a software update is required, then it would need to be send in for service. Please contact our helpdesk for further help.
  • The TV turns on with the soundbar. This is caused by CEC commands from your TV via the HDMI port. Please disable these functions on your TV, to use the soundbar while TV is off.
  • If you are having problems playing music after setting up a new speaker (no matter what connection is used, Ethernet, Wi-Fi), please restart the Harman Kardon Controller app after the speaker setup is complete.
  • It sounds like you are living in a country where Google Assistant has not yet been officially released. When Google releases the Google Assistant to more countries, the Everest GA headphones will open up for this feature. It may require a software update for this to happen. For now, you can use them as normal Bluetooth headphones and wait for the release to use the Google Assistant feature.
  • Please check that Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa are installed on your device.
    Try to repeat the setup process.

    Please note that these services can only be activated from the earphone's buttons when the headphones are connected via Bluetooth. Buttons on a cabled remote cannot be used for this purpose.
  • Some third-party apps do not support volume changing when your smart device is in lock screen mode.
  • If you are experience this message, please power cycle the Wi-Fi router and speaker(s). Disconnect the devices' power cable for 10 seconds and then reconnect them. Once the router and speaker(s) completely boots up, please try to setup again.
  • If the pairing mode is not succesful, please move the subwoofer closer to your SB150. The pairing process can take up to 30 seconds before a connection has been established.
  • Try resetting the device, and remove the Bluetooth device on your source device in the settings. Now Bluetooth-pair with it again. If the unit still does not work as intended, please contact our helpdesk.
  • Try reset the ESQUIRE2 speaker. Press and hold Volume + & phone button at the same time. When the unit is reset, it will power off, and turn on the unit again, and it is reset. Go into your Bluetooth device list and delete the ESQUIRE2 from your list. Now Bluetooth pair with it again. If the unit still do not work as intended, please contact our helpdesk.
  • This feature is not yet implemented in our Harman Kardon Allure or Allure portable speaker. Future updates might include this option, so we advise keeping an eye on the release notes in the HK Alexa Setup app about possible future firmware updates.
