  • The Club 5501 is a mono amplifier for subwoofer use in cars. It can be confusing to see that it has two inputs, marked left and right, as well as two speaker output pairs. But it is still a mono amplifier, with only one channel. The two inputs are there to make it easier to connect to a normal car radio/head unit, where you will often have two normal full-range connectors, left and right. You can insert both into the 5501. However, if you only have one signal lead going to the 5501, you can use either of the inputs. They are combined into one inside the amplifier anyway. Also, the two sets of speaker connections are there to make it easier to connect two subwoofers simultaneously. The two sets are completely identical, so you can use either one for a single subwoofer, or both. If you connect two, they will be in parallel.
  • The Stadium GTO 20M is intended for use with the Stadium GTO two-way systems, or to replace existing midrange speakers in systems that are already three-way from the start. The Stadium GTO two-way component systems are 3-way upgradeable. The crossovers are gap-switchable to accommodate a midrange upgrade. The optional Stadium GTO 20M midrange includes a bandpass crossover to convert a two-way system into a threeway system with perfect tonal balance. You simply connect both crossovers to the speaker wires from your car amplifier in parallel, and set the existing GTO two-way crossover to GAP function. Stadium GTO 20M is designed to also fit into many factory three-way applications. Please note that you cannot use this add-on midrange with coaxial car speakers, unless you can access the crossover networks to establish the midrange gap that the extra midrange is meant to occupy.

  • First, it is very important that you use the correct size enhancers (rubber tips). This headphone features the TwistLock technology that is uniquely designed to fit in the bowl of the ear (vs. inner ear). They may look bigger than traditional ear buds, but this design provides the most secure fit to ensure they never fall-out in the most active workouts. To properly put them on, first make sure you have the Right and Left ear bud in the correct ear. The number to indicate the enhancer size is featured on the inside of the enhancer next to the large L or R (left ear, right ear). Next, gently insert the enhancer into your ear with a forward motion towards the jaw, which should twist and lock the enhancer into place. After the enhancers are securely locked in the ear, we recommend wrapping the ear loop up and over the ear for the most comfortable fit. Please note, the ear loop should not be pushed backwards to align with arc of the ear perfectly; it is likely there will be negative space between the headphone and your ear. The size 7 will be featured on the model; two smaller sizes (5 & 6) and one larger (8) will be included in the packaging. If you experience discomfort wearing the size 7, try the next size down. If you try a smaller size and the headphones fall out easily or the enhancer does not extend fully to the back of the bowl of the ear, you should try a bigger size. If you’re unable to find a secure fit, one our fit specialists can assist you with a different size or guidance on how to properly wear these headphones. For any questions or concerns regarding fit and sizing, please contact your local JBL Customer Support or please email us from our Support page at https://www.jbl.com/support-contact.html.

  • First, it is very important that you use the correct size enhancers (rubber tips). While the tips may appear too large, these do not go all the way into your ear canal. The enhancers are supposed to fill the entire bowl (concha) of your ear, so please be sure to try both sizes to ensure a comfortable fit. To properly put them on, first make sure you have the Right and Left earbud in the correct ear. Next, gently insert the enhancer into your ear with a forward motion towards the jaw, twist and lock into place. If you’re unable to find a secure fit with both sizes in the box, we can send you a complimentary sizing pack with two additional sizes. Please email us from our Support Page at https://www.jbl.com/support-contact.html to request yours today.

  • By habit, we try to shove earbuds into our ear canals in attempts to get them to stay in. The 500 Series headphone is a completely different concept. The tip of the enhancer (ear tip) should funnel gently down into the ear canal and the base of the enhancer should fill the entire concha (bowl) of your ear. If there is still quite a bit of space between the back of the enhancer, and the back of the bowl of the ear, there is nothing to support it and it will eventually fall out. Typically larger sizes will fill the extra space inside the concha. We recommend trying both sizes featured in the packaging. If you are still experiencing fit issues, please reach out to your local JBL Customer Support for information regarding different sizing options.
